Structured play
the coaches break the kids into small groups for more one on one. They are continuously doing different things throughout the clinic to keep them motivated.

First experience using the program. We are enrolled on soccer. The online portal with quick access for the schedule is convenient. Our coaches have been great keeping the kids engaged and learning. I also appreciate the team size, gives everyone a chance to play but also allows those who do want to participate more playing time.
Once a week practice/games is great. It is very well organized and run. I like how each level allows more rules of the game to be implemented appropriately for each age group.

As a coach, the support is what stands out. The league is organized and predictable: seasons are short, 7-game stints, schedules are clear, and games don't get canceled over a little rain, so families know to expect a game every Saturday. Communication is easy. The app makes it simple to reach my team, and whenever I've needed anything, I've been able to get ahold of someone right away. The volunteers are consistent, the referees are consistently great, and Ki Bass, Alyssa, and Alexa in the South Austin office have been wonderful to work with. They are supportive, creative, and always willing to find a solution.
What I value most is the philosophy. i9 prioritizes the kids' experience and their love of the game without the pressure and commitment of highly competitive leagues. The weekly sportsmanship values and awards instill something real in the players, every single week. Everyone feels welcomed and cared for. And the girls-only teams matter. They're a big part of why my players come back.
The coaching resources made it possible for me to grow too. I started by simply following the training videos and practice plans, and now I build out full practices and big goals for a big team, with lots of fun at the center. My players love it and can't wait to keep playing.

Easy to understand and sign up
I love that we only have to commit to one day a week for practice & games. It’s easier for scheduling especially when there’s other kids in the family that also do sports and we can coordinate. It was such a smooth process getting registered and the season kicking off. Coaches and staff are really helpful with the kids and we’ve had such a fun time.

Low commitment, yet still enjoyable!
Every child gets a chance to play, every child gets recognized for a different value and receives a medal for it, it’s not about competition/winning but about having fun playing with friends. I feel this helps build a positive relationship with sports.
