Coach Holmes has been great! He has well qualified assistance, holds team members accountable, is inclusive of all players new and experienced. He takes time to demonstrate and displays patience. I am very impressed with his ability to coach, adapt, and demand a whole rooms attention. This coach is a valuable asset and I am sad to know this is his last season, I wish we had found him sooner!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about i9 Sports! My son has been participating in their flag football program, and it has been such an amazing experience for both him and our family!
The staff and coaches are absolutely incredible! They are patient, encouraging, supportive, and genuinely care about every child. What I love most about this program is that every child gets the opportunity to participate, learn, and feel included, regardless of their skill level or experience. No child is left out, and everyone is made to feel like an important part of the team.
It’s so refreshing to see a program that focuses not only on teaching the fundamentals of football but also on building confidence, teamwork, sportsmanship, and friendships. The positive environment they create makes such a difference!
As a parent, there is nothing better than watching your child have fun, grow, and feel proud of themselves. I would highly recommend i9 Sports to every family! As a coach, I like the weekly guides. The guides engage every kid playing…even the ones who struggle and want to play with the flowers in the field.
Coach Collin is amazing with my so! He is always willing to help him and guide him when he isn’t understanding or simply being shy. He tells us every Friday he’s ready for soccer on Saturday morning!!

I love that the practice and the game are on the same day. The coaches are great with the kids!
It's' structured well and the yard signs are a nice touch for the kids and the company to advertise.

It’s refreshing to have an option for youth sports that doesn’t require committing 3 days per week. I also really appreciate that the schedule for practice/games is clear when signing up and that we know the location at signup as well.
The other sports leagues we looked essentially said practices/games could be anywhere in SW Portland or anywhere in SE Portland, and some didn’t even confirm what days of the week practice would be on until after registration was over. The i9 approach is far preferable for functioning in real life!
We also love our coach and have found the league to be well run. Thanks for a great first season! We will be signing up for more!
I do like the i9 Program. I specifically coach for my sons in both Pee wee and super pee wee. My feedback through my 6+ season doing this is some of the expectations in the rules for these kids is a little over the top. Calling a Safety in a Super Pee Wee game is something that is unnecessary. These kids do not understand that concept. Alot of them have never even played the game. And that ruling in football is punishing the team that caused it. Some of these kids do not even run the right way, but that is ok.....its not to them if they hurt their team with a Safety.
I love that the practice and game are the same day. This is the first sport my son has played and I’m glad he’s enjoyed it thus far. Only think I can complain about is that the teens from i9 lock up the bathroom too soon after the games over. We are always the last game of the day. Parents are still packing up and getting stuff together to haul to their cars and kids have to go to the bathroom too. If they could remain there for like 15 minutes after the game ends for the day, it would be much appreciated.
I would like to commend the entire coaching staff for their excellent sportsmanship and support. My son thoroughly enjoys his Saturday sessions, and we are looking forward to registering him for the upcoming season.
