When I walked into the Poole Family Y I honestly felt like I was home. Malinda and Melissa helped me get a membership which was FREE with my insurance. I started Start Strong with Laura the next day and was very impressed! It was fun and over the last year and a half I have made many friends and had so much fun in the classes!!
Before I came here, I was isolating and feeling very sad and old. The Y brought me to a better place in my life and I will always be grateful.
Stretch and Restore class
I usually workout 4-5 days per week and every day is different. I typically go during the daytime however since trying Zumba with Jillian on Wednesday nights, I have rearranged my schedule. I love her class! My two daughters take this class with me every week. Jillian is such a positive, fun and energetic person. We look forward to our time together taking this class!
Kaitlyn (spelling?) has been excellent as a leader and counselor for our kids in aftercare. She is safe each time at pickup and secure with not letting anyone into the building and personally walking everyone to their cars. She has a great personality overall and is easy to speak with when it comes to parents. She is understanding of kids with medical issues (i.e. ADHD, etc.) and has not been quick to judge. She also has great manners and etiquette (wrote us thank you cards for their Halloween treat bags for counselors), and they make it fun for our kids. We always feel comfortable with our kids in the YMCA's care at WSES.
