I enjoy the Thrive classes for senior folks. The classes have very fine and effective instructors who encourage us in a friendly chatty manner. I like the time slot of these classes as I’m not a morning person. I’m currently taking advantage of an extracurricular personal small group strength training with Laura Taylor; where she encourages continued use of the exercises and equipment she has taught us to use. I especially enjoy the monthly outings to points of interest and unique restaurants that Beth Porter plans and coordinates, as it affords us the opportunity to meet new friends in our age group. All in all the Y provides a healthy community!

I do not like the fact that the Sauna seems to be
always ( too often ) in disrepair. It’s not fair! We need it!

The instructors for group fitness are outstanding and inspire the class. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. I enjoy the sense of community. I like that I'm getting in good shape and getting stronger and toned.

However, I wish there was more space! Why do you need so many ellipticals? They are barely full.
