Joining the YMCA has been one of the best decisions I've made in a while. I love the fitness classes and community! And the childcare is phenomenal. I can take care of my health while knowing my kids are safe and having fun.
The number of machines , the open feel and the fact you have a number of staff on the floor to ensure users of equipment are using it safely. Also the friendly staff a big plus

Facility is clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Great place and clean. The gym can get a bit rough with the banging of weights and no supervision from staff. Many times there are so many kids just messing around not really working out. There should be more restrictions on kids in the work out areas if they aren’t actually working out.
The beautiful sunshine upstairs, plus spin class was fun and my kids want to come back and try to pool.

Northwest Cary location will benefit from a sperate area for 21 and under, its almost impossible to work out there in the evening.
MODEST dress code needs to be enforced; the teenagers know less about such value at this time. It's the YMCA who needs to step in, the same people will value this when they are matured adults. Many men find it hard to join workout classes as they find themselves alone in the middle of a large group pf females. I am not saying about introducing some hard rules...but take a look at these program as they go on. men seem to be kept away...slowly they look for it somewhere else.
