The YMCA is a wonderful place that’s always clean, welcoming, and well cared for. Everything feels fresh and organized, which makes it easy to relax and enjoy your time there. Swimming outside at the YMCA is especially nice, with clean water and a calm, refreshing atmosphere. Overall, it’s a great environment that makes every visit enjoyable.
Clean facility, well equipped, friendly staff
Chatham Park Y is a great facility with lots of great classes and a welcoming staff.
The new Chatham Y is an excellent, very large facility, with an excellent workout gym, basketball courts, multiple pools, and what looks to be a small soccer field. I'm retired and just use a treadmill and 10 or 11 weight machines, typically, and a few lighter free weights. Very nice staff, too. Plenty of parking so far. I'm very glad that my supplemental Medicare insurance pays for a gym benefit, which the Y accepts. Not all gyms do.
The staff is very friendly and the exercise area is clean and well maintained.

New and nice staff
facility is clean. staff is helpful and great. there are some things that I would like to see changed:
Ladies locker room: there should be benches by each set of lockers. There should be a better way of keeping the floors dry from swimmers.
I'm one of the swimmers, and I try really hard not to soak everything, but I'm not very successful. Its not nice for those changing into workout gear to have their socks soaked.
Showers need additional hooks for
1: hanging our suits inside the shower and have them drip there
2: separate hook inside shower area but away from shower for shampoo etc bag
3: separate hook outside of 1st curtain for towel.
Widen the curtains next time they need replacing so would stop soaking the floors and the single stool.

No notes but can we get a 630pm cardio class on Mondays pls
The pool is great. The workout equipment is newer and in good shape. The employees are very friendly and helpful.

The pool facility is so nice! I used the gym for the first time recently and they had great equipment and some more private spaces for exercising when classes aren’t happening. Overall great! I hope the facility continues to hold up well with time and use.
I love the outdoor pool. The men’s locker room is a bit inadequate. More benches are needed today and more showers will be needed soon if membership expands and there are more swimmers.
The equipment is set up nicely and kept in working order. Employees are friendly and helpful. Suggestion: get the lifeguards a heater and a tent set up like they have in Northwest. It’s cold outside in the winter.
Front Desk representative named Cheryl welcomed me with open arms. She gave me a detailed tour of the facility, and was very friendly and knowledgeable. I felt super welcomed. This Y is beautiful and has state of the art equipment, I was impressed with the layout. I most definitely will return. My overall experience was awesome.!
Kids Zone! The classes. The staff. Such a wonderful, friendly and supportive place to be.
The teachers who really engage all of us and really know what they are doing and can give us alternatives to be successful in the class, those who work in the Y from the front desk to those who do the maintenance, especially those cleaning as the Y always looks terrific and feels clean. I wish there were some additional classes offered more but I will live. So glad that the pool is open during the winter. So much to like here. Never have had a problem finding a parking space.

Would love for weekday exercise class start time to move slightly later from 915 to 930 to allow preschool moms to arrive on time for classes after preschool dropoff.
