Family access/care, pool and health options. Friendly staff and many things to do.
Wishlist: few heavier dumbbell sets (maybe 110/120s) and some specialty lifting equipment, example hack squat, specialty back machine (Arsenal Row for example) to decompress the leg press and provide additional options.

It’s a great community, I have developed several friendships, I really like the variety of classes.
Please get more bikes for cycle class, there is plenty of room in the studio for additional bikes.

The whole atmosphere is absolutely wonderful and the people that work at Chatham Park really elevate the experience. The one thing I would like to ask is to please not use round up because it gets into the ground water and you have a pool and children and this is a toxic cancer-causing chemical, it would be nice to see more natural things used at a family venue.
Swim Aerobics! Wish we were able to have classes year round.
I really enjoy my morning workouts. Plenty of equipment to use, class options and the staff is always amazing.
I typically go to the Durham Lakewood location, and while I love it, I was incredibly impressed by the offerings of the Chatham Park Y. They also have my favorite Precor elliptical, which is definitely a draw, as that's my primary cardio workout.
GYM class
Welcoming vibe - from the front check-in desk and staff to the instructors.
Instructors - especially Amy M (Barre/Lean and Cut) and Eleanor (yoga) - are skilled instructors and delightful.
Disappointment ~ the aqua fitness classes scheduled at 8:00AM are the WORST time for those of us who have developed a long discipline of 8:15 and 9:15 morning classes. Please consider rescheduling aqua fitness to 10:30. There is only one class - one choice - at that time. Another great time would be late afternoon and/or early evening.

The facility is so clean and I am always greeted by friendly staff that make me feel welcome. I attend group classes and all instructors are amazing. They include all fitness levels while making classes fun. I have made some amazing friends that encourage each other on our fitness journey. The Y has become a very important part of my life.

The classes
The Chatham Park Y is one of the friendliest and cleanest gyms I have ever used. The pleasant atmosphere there makes working out a very enjoyable experience.
Love the facility, trainers, and convenience in location. The strength training classes are really great, and I enjoy them very much.
Such a variety of exercise options, something for everyone. Great location, very friendly and courteous staff. So clean, neat.
