Currently, I cannot do the classes due to having hip surgery. I love the strength classes and pilates classes, but I wish they would have more time options for those of us who work outside the home. A lot of the classes I love are at 9ish which I cannot attend. Have not gotten to use the pool (again, hip surgery), but it looks lovely. Staff are great. I just wish they had put in saunas in the locker rooms like the other newer Y's. The Cary YMCA did it perfectly as far as saunas go!

Should have made the gym bigger - or maybe put in more machines
I joined for the pool. I am a little overwhelmed with the amount of people. I found 8 a.m. is okay. If that gets crowded, I will have to unjoin. I hope to use the treadmills in inclement weather, but am concern also about the crowds. I wish you built this bigger to accommodate this many people.
My grandaughter would not go into the pool because there was no shade or indoor area.
I'm beginning my 2nd week at the Y (including my free week). I'm impressed with the number and diversity of group exercise classes. I've taken 4 classes so far. The entire staff that I've interacted with has been very friendly and cheerful. Everything is so clean and new! The amount of exercise equipment seems adequate at this point. As the membership grows, this may become an issue. I'd like to see an abdominal crunch machine and some kettlebells. The water fountains aren't cooling the water much at all.
Really beautiful setting inside and out. Great staff that are very personable and helpful. I would recommend this facility to everyone.

New. Clean. Great classes. Helpful staff. However. Need more weight machines and space for them. It’s only going to get more crowded.
Love that the facility is large with ample staff. Love the variety of classes that are offered throughout the day. Particularly like that aqua classes are held daily and that there are virtual classes for body pump and RPM.
The facility is clean and spacious with something to offer everyone. The employees are warm, welcoming, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I love the classes but maybe you could offer more senior opportunities (example: Silver Sneakers, Chair Yoga) at varied times. Water exercise classes are great and have wonderful instructors. The Thrive class is very good as well. I had Henri as an instructor and she is excellent.

The outside pool is literally a vibe! I enjoyed the atmosphere and kid friendly attraction's.

The Chatham Park YMCA is a clean and neat facility with a friendly and engaging staff. The equipment is new and plentiful. It is a great place to work out or swim in the outdoor pools. It does have a couple flaws such as music being played so loudly occasionally it can be heard despite earphones, the side outdoor basketball court was not leveled correctly and it collects rainwater, and the men's locker room is poorly designed.
Beautiful state-of-the art facility with great fitness options.
Wonderful facilities and staff
I liked the ease of joining. I like that there is sufficient equipment to use. I haven’t been during super busy times but so far waiting on equipment hasn’t been an issue.
Signing up was very easy! I do love that the pool is included. I wish there were more early classes or options for personal training, but maybe this is something that could happen in the future!

I love the friendly faces of the front desk staff! Everything is so very new! I have enjoyed the classes with Amanda! 😊
The pick up and drop off at Horton Middle can be improved. For example, if the parent at the front of the line is waiting for their child, but the children in the cars behind have already loaded up, the car at the front of the line should be directed to pull forward along the curb so the other cars can exit.
Also, our son would like to have more free time play, for simply kicking a soccer ball, playing catch, or playing basketball. More outside play during rides in or something else to do for the kids to get there early. Also, more time on the soccer field would be nice.
You really enjoyed the crafts (made bracelets, paper plate crafts, rock painting). He also enjoyed the board games but wishes there was a chess board.
Overall, he enjoys going to YMCA day camp and swimming so much during the day.
