I find my kids dig in to their resourcefulness and they have opportunities to explore adventures that are otherwise difficult to reach such as archery and canoeing. I also believe they get a lot of time with really high quality counselors that help show them a really positive role model.
It is a welcoming and well equipped facility.

We can show up anytime to exercise, and there is such a wide variety of possibilities, including classes.
Great group classes and a great social outlet for me as a senior. My favorite classes are Thursday morning yoga with Brandee, Saturday morning cardio dance with Janice, and both Tuesday Tai Chi classes with Louise.

As a member of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro YMCA for about 40 years, I can say that the Y has been a life changing journey. From the first time I walked in the door, i felt like I had a found a community of people who were friendly, caring, professional. The staff; from the customer service person the front door to the Executive Director, were engaging and gracious. Over the years I came to be involved in many of the opportunities offered by the Y. My entire family have been members and program participants for decades ,

Clubs are close by and the swimming pools are wonderful!

The Chapel Hill YMCA is run very well. The staff are very friendly and engaging.
One policy inconsistency that I would note and people visiting from other local Y's have mentioned to me. Some YMCA facilities offer a towel service and other facility sites do not.
It might be helpful to clarify and publish/disseminate what the policy is and why differences exist between different Y's that are part of the greater triangle YMCA network.
