Please refer to previous answers to this same question. I am a charter member of Haselwood Y, and except for that period during Covid shutdown, there are very few weeks that I haven't worked out at the Y. Haselwood YMCA is an outstanding facility with exemplary staff. Keep it up!
The warm friendly staff, the new machines coming, the many friendly Y members and all of the classes.
It’s a bright friendly place. Classes are great.
People are so friendly,
Great lap pool
I love everything about Hazelwood YMCA! I use the pool for rehab and strengthening following knee surgery. Now, I'm getting stronger all over from the workouts to improve health and strength. I appreciate the cleanliness of the building and pool itself. At 65 I'm waiting to slide down the slide, but still waiting for the slide to open!
The pool, steam room and hot tub are my favorites. The locker room and overall facilities are always clean.
Very friendly personnel at the "Y". It is very family orientated. Kyle has been very helpful and caring to my needs when I had a problem with my combo lock and has shown concern if there was any issues having to do with the operation of the "Y". I enjoy the Senior Room on Mon, Weds and Fridays. You feel very welcomed altogether.
Teresa’s water aerobics classes. She is an outstanding instructor!
I love this place!!! The regional executive director isn't bad too.
The Staff and classes.
The various equipment and the great staff
Great staff and staffing levels.
Always so clean, cleanliness is always maintained through out the day.
Bremerton YMCA is really great really clean. Staff is nice I gave it to 10. Love it.
The entire facilities. Clean, organized, staff friendly and engaging. Great classes enthusiastic instructors.
I’m so very grateful to have had Kyle help me today. Since joining I have not been able to sign into the app or use any of the remote services. I was about to give up but decided I go to Hazelwood YMCA to get help. He solved the problem in one minute when he noticed your computer has misspelled my email address. Kyle then explained the apps and how to get the most benefits out of each one. Then Kyle explained how to get my insurance to pay for my membership as it’s a benefit they offer.
Kyle went way beyond in making sure I will get the very best experience from my membership!
Friendly staff, appreciate indoor track during winter months, great Medicare advantage benefit for elderly.
I just wanted to highlight how extra special we feel when we are greeted at check-in by Jordan. She knows all our names and makes a point to say hello and goodbye every single time. She is a ray of sunshine in our sometimes rushed chaotic mornings and we just appreciate her presence so much. I just wanted to make sure that she knows her kindness does not go unnoticed.
Great facility. Clean , well maintained equipment,
The selection of exercise classes. The friendly staff. The clean facility.
I especially love the water aerobics class that Theresa leads on Tuesday and Thursday. She is amazing and I am grateful for this class especially. When I do the walking path in the winter, it is very nice and my husband loves doing the machines.
It offers a lot more than treadmills and weights. I love the classes they offer! I am currently attending Step & Strength class every Monday and Zumba every Monday and Wednesday. The building is also huge which is why they offer swimming classes, a sauna, a hot tub, locker rooms, a basketball court, a weight room, and so much more! There is so much activities into one building and I love that about Haselwood Family YMCA! Highly recommend it to everyone :)
Clean, friendly, many options to choose from
Been a member for many years. Always enjoyed working out in such a clean, friendly environment.
Clean facility, great classes.
The variety of classes and the hours of operation
Lots of exercise options for all ages.
Great facility, friendly and helpful staff, wonderful pool, a well-run and enjoyable experience overall.
Plenty of activities to participate in. Keeping us healthy even during the remodel.
I absolutely love the YMCA, and there are so many fantastic things about it that make it a standout community center. First and foremost, the sense of community is incredible. Walking through those doors feels like entering a second home, where everyone is welcoming and supportive. Whether you're a fitness enthusiast or just starting your wellness journey, the Y has something for everyone.
The Y's commitment to inclusivity is something I truly appreciate. They strive to make their facilities and programs accessible to all, regardless of age, background, or financial situation. This dedication to inclusivity fosters a sense of unity and belonging that is often hard to find elsewhere.
Moreover, the Y's emphasis on family is heartwarming. It's a place where families can spend quality time together, whether it's in the pool, on the basketball court, or participating in one of the many family-oriented events. The Y creates an environment that promotes both individual well-being and strong family bonds.
And let's not forget the impact the YMCA has on the community at large. Through outreach programs, volunteer opportunities, and partnerships with local organizations, the Y plays a vital role in making the community a better place.
In essence, the YMCA isn't just a place for me to work out; it's a dynamic community center that enriches lives in countless ways. It's where friendships are formed, where health is prioritized, and where everyone is encouraged to be their best selves.
