We have 4 kiddos in swim lessons. Our oldest (6.5) has gained so much confidence. Our middle (4.5) is finally getting his water legs and becoming comfortable and proud in the water. Our twins (2.5) LOVE to be in the water and play and jump. The instructors have been fun and engaging and the director has been great at making sure that there were enough instructors for safety and training purposes.
The instructors are very friendly and attentive. My son has gained so much confidence since joining! I would 100% recommend swim lessons at the Haselwood YMCA.

The swim instructors offer quality service to the young members at the Y. I appreciate the effort and instruction that goes into each lesson. You can see that they enjoy what they do and understand how to teach the little ones.

The instructors are great
The heated pool,our instructor was helpful and full of encouragement. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Most of all my kids love swimming and I'm thankful we have a save place to swim.

My daughter loves them. Over the last year she has grown comfortable with the pool. She even asks to go swimming outside of class time.
It’s really teacher dependent. Our teacher right now Katie is amazing! Our son loves her and she is very in tune with each child’s skill and comfort level. She is silly and patient with the kids which is much needed to keep their attention.

Awesome instructors. Great pool. They can really work on their endurance swimming down and back over n over.
In addition to my daughter's swim lessons our Y membership is the bomb diggity. Our family can swim together, my daughter and I do drop-in classes. Such a a variety too: kickboxing, dance fit, spinning, yoga and boxing. We have brought her friend and her cousin.
We also just drop in and do the treadmill and then head home.
My kids have been enrolled in swimming lessons at Haselwood for 4 sessions now. We have been very impressed with how well both boys have progressed from session to session. The instructors have loads of patience are are able to handle each unique personality with so much grace. The Haselwood swimming instructors have quickly become people that we look forward to seeing on a regular basis.
Excellent mile walk on upper floor. I also like the "Senior Center" Meeting room upstairs. An excellent venue for socialization and networking with the older population.
