it's always there and available when I can get out and do outside walking exercise
They provide activities for the seniors, I also enjoy all of the water activities. The hot tub, steamer, they provide a safe place for me to walk. The staff is always eager to help and very friendly.
The Y caters to people of ALL ages. It has a relaxing atmosphere with nice lounge areas where one can sit in peace or have a nice conversation with someone. I firmly believe that when Y staff treat people with respect and courtesy, it makes people of the Y treat each other that way during exercise and socializing. I also enjoy the senior center on Mon, Weds, and Fridays. This is an excellent venue where we meet and greet people regardless of their age and just share and learn from each other. You are never too old to learn things in everyday life.

The classes are great, instructors are friendly and excited about what they do. There are so many great things to choose from! The facility is clean and I like the personal touches, like the photographs on the walls and the fire crackling in the fireplace during the winter time.

Besides the vast options available to anyone wanting to improve their overall health, the staff are fantastic and always willing to assist in any way needed.
The mix of young and old and youthful is great. The caring politeness of staff is also great. I love the group workouts, and watching group workouts, and pickle ball. The equipment is first rate. Hard to find fault with Haselwood YMCA. You live up to your description of giving a Family experience.
Very nice facility. I had a first meeting with Keith for a kickstart. I was glad to get an introduction to the machines and help with setting up some goals. He helped me with making sure I was setting them up safely. We have a second meeting scheduled.
There are endless opportunities there for whatever I want to work on. There are numerous classes I can get involved with throughout the week. I am really going to enjoy this place.

It's large, beautiful and clean with so many workout options!!
It is always clean. The variety or equipment, the different workout rooms and programs. My daughter loves the volleyball times. Just wish there was more. The classes like cooking and stuff is also nice and included in membership. The pool is definitely a plus.
My wife and I are retired after a move back to the Pacific NW from Houston where we did our exercise at a country club and while the Haselwood Y is not a country club it has a little of that feel - great staff, up to date machines, good classes and clean throughout and well cared for - se love the Haselwood Y now that we're retired
Haselwood facility is modern, lots of exercise equipment, friendly staff.
Only suggestion for improvement - cleanliness. The showers have pink mildew even the week after the pool is closed for a deep clean and the exercise equipment frequently has dust and debris on the bottom of the equipment and around the edges of rugs/walls. It feels like there could be a little more cleaning in a place where people come to exercise, sweat and trade air space. Thank you.
Great impressions start at the door and the front line staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and well-staffed. I only use the water facilities but notice the overall cleanliness and good condition of the areas I pass near.

Great classes and equipment. I would be really helpful if lifeguard training times could be posted prominently so we could work around them in the pool. Space is limited on Saturday mornings

Disappointed with the removal of guest passes (Refer a Friend). Improve with other guest options during holidays. Family was in for 3 days from Snoqualmie. We used the pool twice 12/24&12/26 at $35/day x2.
It seems that the "live TV" option in the treadmill apps has been deleted. This is a big deal for me in making my work out the best it can be. The remaining apps are weak or don't connect. Please address this.

Swimming pool, enhanced fitness classes, yoga classes, Tai Chi classes, hydro massage, Cyro massage, family change rooms, handicap change rooms, lap swimming, sauna room, steam room, senior coffee day three days a week,staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable, life guards and swim instructors are alert and welcoming, front desk staff are very helpful friendly and knowledgeable.walk and running track very well maintained and clean, physical therapy available, classrooms very clean and organized. Fireplaces are very comfortable to relax near the seating areas. Kettlebells are available, stretching cage is available, lots of free weights and machines are available, elevator 🛗 is available, restrooms and change rooms are clean and well maintained and stocked, lighting and sound systems are well maintained seniors enjoy water aerobics scheduled activities and lost and found room is clean and well equipped and maintained. Lockers are clean and well organized and maintained. Children have lots of playtime a climbing wall facilitated with supervision and planning for their activities and learning opportunities including dancing and gymnastics activities and 🏊♀️ swimming lessons and riverwalk pool with beach walk area, a swimming swirling slide into children pool. Lots of safety equipment and lifeguards are on duty! Safe parking area is available and well maintained and clean. Thank goodness you brought the YMCA to Silverdale ‼️ enjoy it like my wife and I have since it opened we have been members 🙏💃🏼🕺🏿

I want to recognize Christine. She does a fabulous job of keeping the RR clean and the floor is continually being scrubbed and dried. She is friendly, respectful, and awesome.
Customer Service
Facility is maintained in great condition. Staff is helpful and friendly. Lots of variety in equipment and programs offered. (That my Medicare Advantage plan covers the membership fee is a good deal, too.)
Edie Metz and the entire staff of the Haselwood YMCA are FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A great place to exercise, gather and enjoy the company of others. Very clean and equipment well-kept.
