I like the excise class and I like the people ever ones friendly and the surrounding the children and adult swimming .
Everything. I just wish it was a little closer. My wife's age combined with my age add up to 156. So it would be nice if the Y was only 5 minutes away. Since it's not a perfect world, we accept the fact that we have to make a round trip drive of around an hour and 45 minutes to get to the Y and then back home. If we plan it right, we miss the commuter jams, which can be significantly very jamy.
The staff is extremely helpful and friendly!

Nice staff, exercise equipment is spread out throughout building allowing for different exercise environments, building is clean. Location is attractive and accessible

The cost of a family membership is too high. We are considering cancelling. Although we love the facility, we pay nearly $200 and some months its hard to come up with that much money.

Moved to Lakewood 12 yrs. Ago. I really didn't know many people. I retired from my job & joined the Y! The first time in my life I went to the gym. I joined Debra Marsteller's aerobics class. Not only did I get in better shape,but, I made a lot of new friends.Since then I have done pool classes, Barre & now Enhance Fitness. I Love the Y and all of the GREAT PEOPLE who run it. They truly CARE about us. It is a bonus to stay healthy & spend time with great friends.
You have the friendliest staff! Thanks for providing such an inviting space for all!

The Lakewood YMCA should be looked at as the standard of measure against other facilities like this. Employees are very friendly, always smiling, and they give you that feel good experience. The drink bar is an added bonus. The activities and events are fulfilling.
Have been enjoying my time there & the classes available. Great instructors, staff are so helpful & welcoming. Something for all ages. Would highly recommend!!
After an initial period of becoming familiar, I have become a part of the multicultural family. It is a safe and friendly environment where people are concerned about their overall health and we truly miss people when they are not present for their regular workout.

I like the y and I don’t have anything specific to say
I have recently been to four other YMCA's in the area and the Lakewood is the most user friendly and just plain friendly. The staff always say hi and are present and looking over things. I also like the layout a lot better than the other YMCA's that I have visited hat being Gig Harbor, Silverdale and Shelton.
The facility has all types of equipment to use. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I love going to the Y for the Enhance Fitness class. As I am getting older it helps me maintain strength and balance so I can enjoy my retirement.
