We love the swim lessons, in particularly private lessons with Ellen. She's amazing!
Both myself and my daughter loved the lessons with Rian in level 2. We have tried multiple locations for lessons… gig harbor, downtown Tacoma. The lessons this session was the most progress I’ve seen my daughter have since starting.
Teaching quickly and adequately
The swim instructor was so patient and kind! My 3 year old loved swim lessons!
The staff are wonderful and attentive with the kids.
The teachers make swimming fun while still imparting all of the instruction the kids need. My daughter has blossomed in the 3 months that we’ve taken at the Y from not knowing anything to being able to swim unassisted with either a pool noodle or life jacket.
I like how patient the instructors were with my 2.5 year old and 4 year old. We also saw a huge improvement in the 5 week sessions. Can’t wait to sign up for the next course.
My son goes to the adaptive swim class and he’s never been excited to go in the water. He’s a lot more comfortable than regular swim class. I appreciate the instructor who’s amazing with kids, thank you so much!

Gavin: was a wonderful swim teacher. He was a great mix of fun + keeping our kids on task.
Gino: also a really great swim teacher. He really motivated my boys and they love coming to lessons.
Reagan: She saved the day by subbing for their swim class
Bradly: Such a great weight lifting coach. He is so informative and encouraging!
This is by far the best Y in Pierce County!! Tom Taylor is not even close! If it were not for the drie I would only use Morgan Y. This Y is perfect!!

We are so grateful for the adaptive swim class. Our son loves the water and really enjoys time with disabled peers and the wonderful teachers and therapists that make this program possible.
Teachers are amazing! Very clear curriculum for advancement.
We enjoy Teacher Jaime's teaching style and plan to keep coming back.
Instructors are great. Though a "fast course" option would be great. A lot of kids learn to swim quickly over the summer at local pools because they're there daily for a couple weeks. Something like that would likely attract people who don't want to wait years for their kids to actually learn to swim.
