I like the way YMCA works. A person can go into any call and try it. Many other exercise organizations demand a phone call a day in advance to book a spot in a class. This results in
time spent trying to penetrate busy signals.

Facilities
I love everything and everyone.
I work with my trainer, Analisha, from the Southwest Branch in Avondale, AZ. I have worked with her for at least three years. Analisha is extremely knowledgeable about the muscles and physiology which is extremely important for me as I am a senior. She incorporates weight training along with aerobic type exercises. Analisha is what makes going to the YMCA both enjoyable and productive health-wise.
Friendliness
I love the family atmosphere when I workout and see families exercising together.
I would like the restrooms, especially the women's restroom to be upgraded. Often times, the pluming isn't working, it smells moldy, and doesn't looked cleaned.
I am happy the children's daycare area was completed and they have their own space away from the after care program; however, I feel they should have access to the playground. As a member, I pay for my children and grandchildren to enjoy this option when I take them with me. It should not be restricted from them. This disappoints me.
A "Shout Out" to the daycare employees. She shows love to my granddaughter whose been in her care since she was 1 years old (4 years now). I feel that I can enjoy my workouts because she is safely in her care.
Close to home, participates in Silver Sneakers benefits, easy to go into workout area, complete my circuit and be out within an hour. Only con is they need to fix rowers more frequently.
