it is only the second week for Sebastian, my great grandson, to attend the camp and what I can tell is that he seems happy !!
I like the variety of activities the kids are exposed to and the dedication of the staff….
It is also a safe environment…. I did give a 10 because the Richardson facility definitely needs an upgrade inside and out!!
My kids are thrilled every day.
The kid can now eat lunch there so less hassle and there are weeks where they can swim 2 times.
The kids have been having a BLAST! We ended up signing up for additional weeks this Summer. They have NEVER wanted to go to camp, or I would pay SO much money and they would want to be picked up by lunch time. Everything has been so great!
Our daughter is excited to go every day and seems happy about all the fun things they get to do at camp.
Our daughter has spent a very joyful time at the YMCA Summer Camp. They offer a variety of activities, including crafts, movies, an indoor pool (held once a week), and outdoor activities.
My daughter was a little worried about coming here because she's used to doing camp at the daycare she used to attend. But she came home the first day more excited than I have seen her in a long time, talking about her activities and swim lessons and the new friends that she made, how great the counselors were, and is already making us promise that she can come back next year. I cannot recommend you guys to our friends enough.
My grandson loves it! He hates to swim but he loved splash day.

Major factor is the activities they get to do throughout the day and week. Swimming every day is awesome because my daughter absolutely loves it. Trips to the par and the field trips. Makes ME wish I was a kid again so I can join LOL
It's conveniently located. My son loves it, he comes home with new stories everyday.

We really enjoyed our YMCA Day Camp experience in Frisco! The staff were friendly, energetic, and genuinely cared about the kids. The variety of activities — from swimming and sports to crafts and outdoor games — kept my child excited every day. It was a safe, well-organized environment that helped build confidence and friendships. Just a small improvement in pickup coordination would make it a perfect 10!

From the very first day of orientation I was extremely impressed with our YMCA day camp. Inviting the kids to come dressed as super heroes built such amazing excitement for the kids.
My ASD daughter has trouble regulating emotions and sometimes becomes overstimulated. The Y staff (Ms D) recognized this immediately and started going above and beyond to care for her during these times. Ms D brought in a weighted stuffed animal and created a “zen out” space for my daughter to go when she’s feeling like this.
It made a huge difference. I’m so grateful for the YMCA and its staff.
The staff, the environment and organization are impeccable and I can’t recommend enough.
