The gym, pool and locker rooms are clean. The staff at the front and fitness desks are helpful. I am very glad that I restarted my membership at the Y after moving from Adrian.

I really liked the date night, but when I came to pick my kids up they were in the gym and were almost having a rave. The music was too loud for my children and I could tell that they were not really enjoying the whole dark, glow stick, loud music (and what kind of music), etc. Is there a way to know what activities will be done on date night ahead of time? Thank you.
The Visser Family YMCA is 1 of 7 reasons that I really enjoy living in the Grand Rapids area. There is a culture of true care and compassion that is unmatched by any other business or company. The staff are incredibly enthusiastic and inviting to anybody and everybody, the member base is extremely fun, and the facility feels like your very own. Huge thanks to the staff in: Membership, Wellness, childcare, aquatics, facilities, Sports, and Leadership. The Visser Family Y is a well-oiled machine; better than those perfectly broken leather gloves.
