We like the variety of classes, various exercise equipment, friendly & helpful Kid Zone staff, side room for stretching and exercising in a more secluded area, pool schedule and proper staffing as opposed to other locations that frequently close the pool due to lifeguard staffing issues.
Smaller and clean facility. Most of the time, it's easy to find this locations with minimal traffic, making it easy to workout without having to wait around for the equipment. Mostly friendly staff.

For an older YMCA the Visser is really clean. The Family pool is warm. The staff are friendly and the social area near the locker room entrances is great.

The Visser Family Y holds up to the word "Family" not only because it is a wonderful family location but because there is a strong family connection amongst the members and staff as well.
I am able to take my 92 (soon to be 93) year old mom in the morning to use the family pool. It is usually warm enough for her to move her arthritic shoulders and hips for about 35 minutes. A great way for her to start the day.

The family pool is THE BEST of all the Y pools. For a couple reasons: 1) it’s always warm, which makes it a lot easier to enjoy. 2) there’s no apparatuses or splash pad type equipment that requires additional parent monitoring to ensure kids aren’t misbehaving or getting hurt. It’s just a good old fashioned warm, shallow pool. It’s perfect and by far - our family’s favorite pool of all the Ys.
Staff members are friendly and helpful. Locker rooms are clean and well maintained. Machines work well and there is enough for the number of people that use them when I'm there.
Close to home and everyone is so nice at all locations!
They treat you as family. Everyone that regularly attends has a close-knit connection, and it's spectacular. Nowhere else will you find so many people genuinely invested in supporting goals/dreams you wish to achieve.
I like the classes. I dislike the fact that the app is not working for android users! It's been a month now, let's get that fixed!!
