The basketball courts were full of preschoolers learning how to dribble and how to play as a team. Their parents' pride and energy was inspiring.
I appreciate the cleanliness of the facility. I appreciate the variety of workout opportunities. I like that though it can be a busy place of activities, I never feel crowded or unable to use a machine I need.

I like the small institution experience. I wish you would put in a Sauna. With all of the benefits, it would be nice to have.
Also, I am 72 years old with arthritis. It would be great if you had something for arthritis later in the morning. It takes awhile to get going due to the pain.
maybe something at 11am or even 12 noon.
I enjoy the water exercise classes which I have been going to for several years. My only complaint is that the classes are getting too big to do some of the things we used to do. Also the instructors are great but have toned down intensity from what it used to be.
I recommend these water classes for great exercise for older adults. I am 88 and it is so good for your body as you get older.

Great Kidzone’s staff. Just wish they used the baby/toddler area more often to separate little kids from bigs. Facility is always clean and staff is friendly. Would be nice if it got a Reno to make it bigger with a better track some day.

Hours, classes, equipment and location all work great for me and what I'm looking for.
Visser is by far the best YMCA in Grand Rapids. I drive far just for the Family Pool. Everyone is friendly and helpful and it makes me feel so welcome
