Unlimited group fitness classes!
I love that my toddler loves the daycare. Makes my workout more enjoyable as well. I also enjoy the room with the weights and mats gives me a designated comfortable area to stretch so I don’t have to go looking for an area. Thank you YMCA

It's more low key. I like the way the layout is designed. I like the hot tub and steam room next to each other.
I love the spin classes and the weigt room. My wife enjoys water aerobics. The time for coffee and friends is good - nice tables.
I like doing aqua cardio with Laurie in the heated pool. I like Sunday yoga with Tim. I like the trivia on the white board. Every worker has been friendly. I like the lockers and family locker room.

Very friendly people’s and very clean facilities
Front desk staff is ALWAYS friendly and helpful which is amazing as they are the first impression on the entire facility. I also love that Visser is never "too packed". Sanitation and cleanliness are my middle name and I'm impressed at how clean the facility is and how it is constantly being cleaned while we're there! Lastly, I really admire how there are staff members walking around to help if need be;-)
Employees are friendly. Facility is generally clean. Parking is good and parking lot has been well cleared of snow and ice. Problems that get reported (burned out ceiling lights, broken/leaking shower heads, etc) are usually quickly repaired. I have found other patrons to be friendly and courteous. Coffee is still free (even though I don't drink coffee)! Sometimes I do use the hot water for tea. I have been told that free hot beverages are not available at other Y's in the Grand Rapids area.
Love the options of work out variations and classes. I choose to go to spartan Nash as it fits more my age group. I’ve been to visser a few times lately and it seems a lot warmer than other locations . I would recommend getting more fans or turning down the temp. 🙂
The staff is friendly. For the most part, things are kept clean. Lifeguards on duty & noticed to be checking things. Staff monitors workout area. Lot is always plowed
I like coming three days a week. Two days in the pool and one day in the small studio with Tammy at 8:30 a.m.
Because that class is getting bigger, I'm wondering if some schedules can be adjusted so we could use the bigger studio?
Staff members are very friendly and helpful. Members are like extended family! The instructors are great.

All great teachers
Love the variety of classes. Instructors are always good. Especially like the water aerobics for my arthritis. Could use an update in the women’s showers as tile looking kind of bad. Hot tubs have been down quite a bit which has been disappointing at times. Could also use a couple more recumbent bikes as they are almost always taken when we come and my husband uses those frequently but this year it has been tough to get one due to increased enrollment of people who like these.
The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable who treat me like a really good person. The lockers are spacious, and water for showers is always hot.
I belong because I enjoy and appreciate the workout experience. Staff and friends there are like welcome extended family.

Everyone is so friendly!! Staff and members alike! I love the sense of community! I'm so glad I joined!! I mainly do classes. I love them. They motivate me.
