Easy, convenient, good swim training
Very nice and friendly
facility is clean and large enough to accommodate a lot of people without feeling too crowded
All the amenities
Very nice facility. Staff is very friendly.
Added more yoga classes
The Mary Free Bed YMCA is always clean and the staff is friendly. My kids love the kidzone staff and get excited to go to the gym. The YMCA is my village.
I rode the bike, attended a class, and sat in the sauna. All good experiences. The only bad part was where I left my phone on the bike - while I went to class and sat in the sauna - but someone found it and turned it in!! So grateful for that!
Most of the staff
My personal trainer is amazing ( SHE SHOULD BE ACKNOWLEDGED )
this is a very judgement free zone, people of all fitness levels can feel comfortable working on their individual fitness goals here, which I love!
The aqua aerobics classes for adults.
well maintained facility; only complaint - sometimes it seems like long lead time to get
equipment repairs made
Great family friendly and clean facility!
Friendly staff, clean facilities, lots of options for exercise.
People there are so friendly and helpful!
We love the cleanness of the facility. The front desk has always been welcoming and friendly. I also love the fitness classes and the support the team gives for beginners.
I think the facilities are great and the staff have always been friendly. My biggest concern is the family locker room. I assumed it was to be used by families with kids and solo kids there for swimming. But I always see single adults using it instead of the men's/women's locker rooms. It makes me nervous to have my young daughter in there alone for swim team with so many adult men wandering around. Once there was a man waiting in there wearing just a towel.
Great work out area set up. And the facilities were very clean and organized. My only request is to have better lighting in the lap pool area. My family absolutely loves the Mary Free Bed YMCA!
We just recently returned because of the opportunity for inclusion for Special Olympics Athletes. A partnership with YMCA and Special Olympics enabled our son to work on staying healthy!
Awesome place and people!
My son has had lots of fun in this class. The coaches make this class fun and entertaining for the kids and keep things moving with different games and activities. Drew specifically has been amazing teaching this class. Drew’s high energy makes this so much fun. He’s helped my son develop more of a love of basketball. I’m disappointed when I went to sign up for the next session, it was full so my son is on the waitlist. Hopping he can do the next session!
Great environment, friendly staff, I love the classes
Nice facility, friendly and helpful staff, help create a mini community.
We love that the kids enjoy the time there and that the director listened to our concerns about placement for the girls.
Great program!
The Instructors are great with our girls! They look forward each week to getting their lesson.
Staff, Facility, and pool availability
Just started going to this Y. It is very nice and has a lot of equipment, also offers a large variety of group classes.
I feel welcomed at YMCA Mary Free Bed. I have knee disabilities and enjoy the swimming exercise classes and being able to laps when permitted.

The instructors are great and I’ve made new friends (in addition to the great low impact exercise, of course). My old (and new) joints love the hot tub as well.
Query: at what attendance level do you consider adding additional daytime classes? Some classes may already be at or near that level.
Thanks!
