I love Mary Free Bed YMCA. I feel so comfortable having my kids swim there and I love working out there. Even as a Muslim woman who wears the hijab, I feel so comfortable walking into the YMCA at Mary Free Bed!
I love the lap pool and the hot tub. All the staff really know what they're doing. They listen to you and are kind and compassionate. I'm limited in what I can do because of knee surgery. They will work with you in finding what you can do. I would highly recommend this Y to anyone, and especially to people who have an injury. I want to mention David, who was so knowledgeable and helpful in figuring out what I could do. Gyms are fine, however I don't think you get peace of mind that comes from knowing the the staff has real knowledge about working with people of all ages and abilities.
I am very pleased with the choice of the club. The employees are very attentive to their work.
What’s not to like! From parking, classes, the pools, sauna the whole facility is family friendly as well. We are lucky to have this in our community.
The Mary Free Bed YMCA is always clean, staff are friendly and helpful, and they have convenient hours plus childcare for parents wanting to workout. My kids love the pool and KidsZone.
Clean, Friendly staff
Great facility. But there are some definite problems. First, the gym needs at least one more leg press. 85% of the time I am waiting for one to open up. Second, it probably needs some more free weights, especially 45 lb plates. They often seem to be in short supply. Third, the staff should be better trained. It often seems like there is dirt/trash in areas with staff just sitting at the desk doing nothing about it. Fourth, the towels should be brought back.

The program I useis tailored to my needs. It is the moving with Parkinsons led by Attila Mosolygo , he is fantastic.

The water aerobic classes are great., especially water yoga. Appreciate the variety of instructors but could be even more classes offered.
I enjoy the tone of the Mary Free Bed Y- no pressure to dress or act a certain way. I especially value the relationship with Mary Free Bed.

I like the spaciousness of the facility and the friendly staff. I like to walk on the track and lift weights, but there is so more than that, there are so many classes/programs for children and adults.
The inclusive nature of the people who are there each day.
As long as a fellow First name removed is employed there (i.e First name removed DeLosh), I will continue to enjoy showing up at the Mary Free Bed YMCA.
