This was our first time with a YMCA sports league and we had a great experience with coaches, all the courts/referees/equipment on game days felt very organized, and overall had a positive experience.
Sportsmanship, fun, low pressure, good communication
Love the basketball program and the refs are amazing and engaging.
Rob Halsma was a great coach who did an outstanding job of coaching the boys
Nice place
I go to this Y at least once a week. It's a fine place to go to for healing, recovery, and fitness. You get a couple of loungers on equipment every now and then. The track is incredible for sprinting, the straight aways have good length but be careful of the turns as they are bit sharper than downtowns track.
The mens sauna is a comfortable atmosphere and it gets to about 170 F. The temperature could be much more stable and efficient if the door had a ball detent latch. It does not close properly and leaks heat like a sieve.
The 2025 resolution surge has beckoned in a bit of members who don't seem to place their weights back in the proper place. This might seem tenable and innocent at first but it might create a careless culture in the future.
The staff mostly are quite warm and inviting, some shy but overall a place that is a go to.
We use your track to run in cold weather.
Nice open plan. I like the track and I plan to get started in the aquatics for arthritis class when I get well enough.
Nice and big, a lot of members, apparently. Availability of the gym is still good, however.
Open the kidzone on Sundays!!!
Clean. Friendly staff.
Every staff member I meet is so "personable." Just a friendly chat . . . sometimes I have a question, which they actually try to get resolved for me. The greatest is my Personal Trainer: Jake Delosh. He is very careful to "not set the load levels higher than is right for me." If he makes a mistake . . . he is quick to make an adjustment that is more correct for me.
When I grow up, I want to be just like Jake!

EVERYTHING
Nice facilities, great vibe. Fun for whole family.
I'M 83 AND I JUST WALK EVERYDAY. I FEEL VERY SAFE AND I LKE THAT WE ARE NOT ON TOP OF EACH OTHER , ESPECIALLY NOW WITH ALL THE BUGS GOING AROUND. MOST OFTEN WELCOMED AS I COME N !!!!!!!

It’s an affordable and approachable way to get active & learn new sports. We appreciate that at our children’s age these are not overly competitive or demanding leagues. It was a little tough to understand what the expectations/rules were for 1/2 basketball…I understand the kids’ skills are so different at that age but it felt like the rules weren’t enforced consistently, which confused the girls and make them more timid. I also appreciated there was a coaching clinic this time and while we couldn’t take advantage I loved the kids clinics offered! On the whole we are so pleased with the experience, thank you!
