Very clean and abundance of equipment.
We love it. It's a beautiful facility. Each member of the family can find something to do, and we end in the lazy river. It's our family thing to do on a Friday evening.
Great classes for older adults especially restorative yoga! The facility is clean, well maintained and a comfortable place to walk, swim and exercise with friends. I love the YMCA in Baldwinsville!

Great facility ,classes and instructors
Everything! The instructors, who are so skilled, patient and motivating. The cleanliness, the fabulous friendly membership staff, the diversity of classes offered, the ease of check-in, etc.
I enjoy the welcoming smiles and hellos when I arrive and the overall friendliness of the staff! It starts my day off great!
Many options for exercise in the water and out of the water. Personal trainer available. Facility is clean in all areas. Staff is friendly. Nothing not to like about the Northwest YMCA.

Diversity of choices
We were immediately greeted by friendly people, the facility was calm and clean and there was a lot of room on the track.

The amenities and variety of things to do. The space is beautiful and laid out very well.
Pleasant Family atmosphere.
Although today around 1330 two young men were entertaining themselves by throwing footballs and soccer balls from the field at the track railing as hard as they could startling the disabled and geriatric walkers. So rude.
Available equipment
The front staff are very courteous. I only attend the lazy River classes. Our instructor, Denise, is the best you’ve ever had. She is full of enthusiasm and loves what she’s doing. Denise is caring and makes the class fun. Just wish you would add another aerobic walking class on Fridays. It seems that the lazy River is under-utilized. I do not go to classes at night as I’m a senior and not comfortable driving at night. Maybe if you added another class on Fridays, our class sizes might be smaller and more manageable. I know you have open walking on Thursday morning but I prefer to have music and an instructor. It makes me work harder.
Quiet and not too crowded. I like the tread mills you have and ability to watch TV.
I love Northwest Family YMCA. It's bright and pleasant. The staff is friendly and helpful. Everything is very open with sufficient room to walk on the large track, use the equipment, and exercise. The virtual classes are great too. The pool area is amazing with a wading area for the kids and the Lazy River to work you a little extra when walking. This Y has something for all ages. It also has a program for Active Older Adults, as well as for those that aren't as active like Chair Yoga and water classes. It also offers Dance Classes, Ceramic Classes, Painting Classes and so much more. This is my favorite Y and I've been to several locations.

Getting exercise and meeting new people
Clean, up to date and inclusive ( youngest-oldest members). I do wish that grandparents could be allowed to carry their grandchildren on their memberships. Sometimes parents can't afford a family membership or the locations don't work with their schedules. This would allow grandparents to spend time with their grandchildren, while staying fit and teaching and enforcing good health habits. Many programs would be wonderful for us to share with our grandsons but not possible. What's the difference if we're willing to pay for them and have parents consent?
Fairly new, well cared for facility; a happy place to be. My preference would be for group classes suitable for seniors be held a bit later in the morning than they currently are. Keep up the good work!
