Different offerings for active older adults. However, I wish there were more how to classes, such as learn to knit, crochet, paint etc for beginners with no experience.
Positive environment for positive day
Wonderful facility, great friendly people!
It’s modern, offers group classes, friendly & professional staff. Equipment is plentiful & in good working order. Always a staff member available to instruct on how to use the machines.
Super clean facility with friendly and helpful staff.
Excellent staff—always helpful and polite
Clean building
Great classes for allages
Bring back bags in the locker room for wet suits
There are a lot of different things to do; classes, swimming, weightlifting, basketball, pickleball, a track, treadmills, stationary bikes, stair climbers, and much more. To top it off the members and staff are great!
The variety of activities available and the large amou9nt of space. I never feel like I have to wait.
Great facility, friendly staff. Keep up the good work
The staff here is incredibly friendly and super nice. Such a family vibe as soon as you walk in the doors – I highly recommend checking this YMCA out. Clean, convenient and plenty to do.
It’s not a “gym” it’s a true Wellness ( mind and body) center with a wonderful community. I am greeted every morning at 6:30 am by Carol at the front desk. She is so kind and friendly.
The morning life guard Stephanie is also a wonderful and a delight at that early hour.
Then there’s Lisa our swim “coach” who is our hydro running instructor. Lisa brings such wonderful energy to each class with her bubbly personality and fabulous music.
The members are so very kind. If someone sick -if someone has a Birthday- or someone gets a promotion it’s highlighted by someone. You’re part of a community at the YMCA for sure- I just can’t say enough about it! except “Join The Y! You’ll be so glad you did!”
It’s clean and friendly and versatile. Appreciate the Pickleball flexibility and introductions. I feel like the quality of your instructors has gone down a bit. We have lost some particularly great instructors or the best instructors don’t teach at peak times but overall it’s the best around in my opinion.
After not having been in the Y for some time, I returned. I had a few questions and it was suggested I schedule a "get started" session. Following a full introduction to the facility, use of each piece of equipment, the exercise rooms, courts, lockers, pool(s) etc. I'm very comfortable coming in and working out and of late playing Pickleball. It was very helpful.
You offer more gentle yoga type classes than north area.
The facilities! There are so many options for fitness and activity for the whole family.
The people who work there deserve more money they make the Y what it is never forget that.
Friendly, skilled staff, variety of classes, clean facility.
I like virtually everything about it minus the fact that the sauna closes for over 3 hours on a weekday, and that the weekends are shorten. And the tall kid never stops talking in the sauna about rec league basketball or uneducated stock market theory. He is the only reason I think about leaving lol
The opportunities are available for hours, for many people.
Lazy river, pool, and general atmosphere are great.
Art classes and track
My husband and I visit your YMCA weekly. My husband loves your hot tub and your steam room. I enjoy swimming laps and spending time in the therapy pool. I is fun making friends and enjoying our exersize time together. I is a good feeling walking into a building and being acknowledged. A simple salutation goes a long way.
The Y offers so many wonderful things… class’s.. for all ages.. it always looks so clean and the staff is very nice.. I appreciate having the Y so close to our community…
The gym is modern, the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Swimming pool, gym
All good!
Everything! Staff are friendly and helpful! The facility is beautiful and well kept! I love going there!
I like this Y alot. It very clean and more modern and up to date then the old Y in Liverpool that I was going before this new one in Bladwinsville which it alot closer to my house. Even the pool area it bigger and got alot more pool for people to choose from depending on what they feel like going like swiming , relax in hot tub, or even just go for a walk in the lazy river, or if you have kids then even have a play water area too. Lastly all of they bike and treadmill all got an update at this Y and you can even watch any spectrum cable channel live that you like from the touch screen which it a added bonus. Some people don't like just watching the 24/7 new or even ESPN while working out like alot of exercise place doe with TV hanging from the wall and your stuck watching them and can't change the channel to something you lke aot better to make your exercise time more fun
Everything
I mostly use the pool

Everyone is friendly.
