I love Marie Jager's classes and attend all of them regularly. Her knowledge, personality, and focus on health and overcoming problems of aging and osteoporosis meet my needs and help me remain very active. I think that without Marie, I might not continue my Y membership.
Other staff members have been very helpful to me over the years, especially Andrea Wilgar, John Milstead, and Rachel Young.
The Weight Loss Challenge program helped me lose 40+ pounds 10 years ago and to maintain that loss. It was life-changing.
I have made many friends at the Y and feel closer to the Saratoga area community as a result. When I go to the library and shop for food and other things I run into acquaintances from the Y, which connects me to the city and neighbors.

Lots of variety (for older kids) - active and non-active options, multiple options every week, all summer long. Good role models and social opportunities. Hours are very helpful for working parents!
Daycare on site, different programs, very good hours and swimming pool. My kids and I Love going to the YMCA, is a stress re leaver.

I have always recommended the SW Y. To any one who's looking for people. who are willing to take the time to help them get the most out of their fitness goals.
I like the fitness classes offered. The weight room is something I should do. Glad it's there.
Use the bikes every now and then. Nice I also like doing elliptical.
