I brought my bike in with a slipping crank and chain repeatedly falling off. This issue completely prevented me from riding my bike. The team at Freewheel was awesome - they walked me through what their thoughts on the issue were and also sent over a detailed work order prior to starting any work.
The repair got turned around in about a week, which was must faster than I expected or have experienced in the past from other shops. I even got a call the day before the bike was done from a mechanic explaining what they had done and that just a couple additional pieces needed to be swapped out/ changed. I thought the communication overall from the team was really outstanding.
Since the crank and chain replacement, I have taken the bike out and put on about 30 miles since with no crank slips whatsoever.
This bike holds a lot of sentimental value for me, it was my dads bike and he gave it to me years ago - he has since passed away, so I want to keep this bike up and running as long as I can.
The care that the team took with it and the communication, for a fair price, really means a lot. I didn't feel just like another customer, it felt like they cared about my bike and it wasn't just a repair.

This purchase was my first encounter with you. I came in looking for a specific bike and you had it. The event was pleasant, and you had answers for my questions. I like the bike a lot after two days, and the accessories are what I wanted, too.

I came in on a Tuesday night just before closing because I had recently fallen on my bike (getting used to my new clip ins!) and my seat and handle bars were twisted. As I’m just getting into the road bike/clip in game, I carry no tools or supplies with me and therefore I was stuck with a bike I couldn’t ride the 10 miles home nor had the tools to fix so I could ride home. So I found freewheel and bashfully walked in asking for help. The woman and the man working blew me away. Their first questions where how I was and if I was ok post-fall. They have recommendations on tools and supplies that I should have and other skills I should know as I continue to explore this new to me biking world. I honestly cannot recommend enough or verbalize well enough how thankful I am and how great these two were. I will 100% travel the 10 miles for all my future biking needs.
