airing out room between class...very stale body odour/smell of sweat!!
I've said this before. You should allow younger family members (kids) to use the same accounts as their parents. It's not a fair practice to only offer discounts to adults who are the only ones who can afford your multipacks and drop in fees. Making children have to have their own accounts discourages families and younger people from coming to your studios (unless that's your intent by structuring it like this for so long?) . If anyone buys a multipack what difference does it make to you if they put their kids on their account and use up more passes per visit? I think you would actually sell more because most parents would bring their kids more often because a lot of them have a hard time using them all up in a year. Also, parents on a budget don't want to pay the high single drop in fees for their kids, much less buy them a pack of ten not knowing if they are going to stick with it (kids are fickle). So either make the drop in fee for kids cheaper or allow parents to use multiple visit swipes on their cards for their kids. Thanks! ; )
You did not disappoint me. The studio was spacious, clean, and the 90 min. power flow class was good. It was just not enough workout for me. And the woman at the reception desk was nice enough to give me the basic welcome greeting. However, she did not go out of her way to be super welcoming. In fact, she didn't pay attention to the people, including myself, who are leaving the studio after the class.
Some solution to the congestion between classes. As I leave a class & gather my belongings in the cubbies, students from the next class rush in and there is chaos in that tiny corner. Some people change there and block everyone else from either grabbing their things or placing them in the cubbies and the congestion gets worse. I don"t know if there would be a possibility to expand the cubbies further along the wall towards the front of the room? Another change room though I'm not sure where logistically that would go. Also- the ant problem is really bad every year. Is there possibly something that could be done proactively to prevent them invading the studio?
I found the room humid and it smelled bad. Wish some windows could be opened.

Very close quarters. I realize that there is only so much time in the day for classes & you are obviously a very busy studio but the class was too full . Love your classes though . Namaste

Classes were too crowded. Please consider putting fewer mats out and adding more classes. Price promotion could be used to get some people to less crowded class times, as well.
semperviva offers a more balanced approach to yoga, offering different high energy classes (ie. kundalini) supplemented by low energy classes (ie.restorative). There is a yin yang flow here that can accommodate any yoga practitioner
Plenty of classes and times to choose from, quality teachers, clean bright studios, use of mats, blocks, bolsters etc.
Warm, helpful and friendly staff. I am very happy to be returning to Semperviva and my yoga practice.
I dame from a very small yoga studio, Unity Yoga. I find the large format lacks the community feel I'm used to.
There are lots of great things about Semperviva that the larger format enable you to provide.

What needs consideration is choice of music.
The instructors should either wear a microphone or speak up or turn the music down.
Your studios at Broadway and West 4th are large and they have an echo.
When the instructor is moving about and giving instructions with Neai Young (?) playing in the background

At my last class, there was a loud drippy leak and it was distracting ... probs not Sempervivas fault but it was quite annoying
Overall, I've really enjoyed the classes. The instructors have been very good as has been the space and props. My only feedback relates to a recent experience (Yin class). This was a full class and seemed to be filled beyond capacity which made for tight quarters. I appreciate you don't want to turn anyone away but I would prefer to be turned away if the class size is already at its optimal size.

great teachers and classes, friendly atmosphere.

The ventilation is not great and really steams up and is very humid, it seems to have got worse. I am not looking forward to it heating up in the summer! I also slipped at the kits beach studio as it got so hot and therefore the floors became slippy.
