The people. That Cheyenne girl is a dream
An improvement would be to eliminate the expiry of 3 months for a 10 class pass, I feel pressured to get to class before the deadline when I juggle a bunch of other activities/school/work and enjoying the sunny days in the outdoors.
My last class two classes there were amazing though! Both of them had excellent communication and flow to the movements for a beginner like me. The sub in the Vinyasa class I attended mid April at Kits Beach (Aysha) was honestly the top two classes I've had there since I started at your school. I hope she becomes a regular instructor soon!
friendly staff, nice location, smaller class sizes, great view
Not allow phones in the studio

The quality of the teaching, the space.
firstly , I must tell you it was my fault for not arriving early. we ended up in the back of the room.. we could not see or hear the instructor . the room was far too packed. i think i should have been asked if we were beginners or if anyone of us were injured or really stiff etc. someone should have talked to me about this before I joined my husband up for the 39 dollar membership. I should have been told if there is a beginner class or a restorative class, we ended up going just to Hatha. the teacher did not show any modifications and instead we on are own had to figure that out. for someone without a lot of yoga experience that was not good. ( mu husband) I was a "drop in "hoping to get a membership so I could with my husband if he liked it. after 45 minutes he spent the rest of the time in his car while waiting for me.to finish the class. ....the yoga pass I bought him was his birthday present so he will not go back on his own for certain....so I am really disappointed.
There is a smelly guy who goes to a lot of the classes I go to - restorative and yin. Me and a few of my friends stress out a bit before class hoping he doesn't set up next to us (he always comes either at the last minute or slightly late to class). He used to smell a lot worse - perhaps someone spoke to him - but lately I have noticed enough of a stench again that I would want at least 2 people between us. It is definitely off putting. He is tallish, long dark hair and mustache
That. I can put my membership on hold' since I travel a lot. I love all the techers, the space, And Gloria is the best!
The teachers. Julia Doty remains my favorite in Vancouver and I've attended Hatha classes taught by other instructors but no one is as clear in instructions or good in insisting on breathing.
Everyone was friendly, the facilities were nice, clean, and helpful. Having all props available was incredibly helpful too.
I like the studio and the yoga teachers.
Friendly convient and as an older person I find it non judgemental
Lots of classes through out the day which makes it easier to attend a class
The teacher of the class I attended was great (Lindsey). It was the best class I've been to in Vancouver. Really well balance in the flow/difficulty/cool down and had a great focus on breath and alignment.
My first ever yoga class was a Cameron Gilley class online through Gaia.com. Having the opportunity to come to Semperviva and take his class in person has been an awesome (and kind of nerdy) experience for me. I love the sea studio environment, the views, ocean air, all the windows. Semperviva is a great yoga studio! <3
I think your studio is great but feels a bit drab. I know people want to relax during yoga but I think the studio needs a fresh coat of paint and a mural. Doesn't have to be too bold and colorful but something to add interest to the plain white walls will add a lot.
I think Christina the teacher was excellent!!
When I first walked into the room it smelled quite a bit like BO and sweat, which made my feel kinda gross and not comfortable. I think more of an infused scent would help with this problem.
Also, I think all jewelry prices should be shown especially in the glass cases. I was interested in some pieces but didn't want to ask for the front desk people to help and would have been nice if I could just see the prices without having to ask for assistance.
A more secure place to leave bags and personal belongings - I don't always feel comfortable leaving my things in an unlocked room. Also, occasionally the room gets pretty crowded and it's hard to feel zen when your neighbour is encroaching on your space.
Everyone was very friendly! And the class was the right intensity.
locations for the studios are convenient and the staff is helpful and friendly, great teachers, variety of classes
excellent instructor, beautiful space, friendly staff
Staff were friendly, the class and teacher were great and the studio is in a great location!
The drop in aspect is key to making yoga classes work for me. The kindness and support of the instructors helps overcome any intimidation for a beginner.

Love the teachers, the Sea Studio, the calm atmosphere, the focus on both the physical and mindful aspects of yoga.
