Down to earth. Quality teaching. Give back to the community.
Sun studio gets a little crowded for the yin classes
I prefer the other studios
Great yin teachers - Pamela. Jolene. Misha. Ben - would be nice to have a yin class during the day on
Wednesday
I find the blankets at Sea studio and City have a really strong smell
That has lingered on my hands. I am glad they are being washed
But wish it was in unscented detergent
Great teachers. One possible improvement is to schedule 8am kundalini yoga on Sundays, led by klayton Doyle. I would love to see that option.
everyone is very friendly and I fell in vole with kundalini
I like it, but I am new in town so it's the only yoga studio I know, so not much to compare with.
Teacher and location
Classes and friendly staff
When instructor can take the time to walk about (which I understand is limited), to provide coaching re: improving / correcting positions...
Always friendly and willing to assist in every way!
teaching techniques are excellent. good environment.
I enjoy the teachers and the flexible attendance schedule. The fact that the classes can be taken no matter your ability encourages newcomers like myself to attend.
The instructors and class schedules
Have a space for showers
Good times and instructors. Very close to home
Have lockers to keep valuables safe and spread mats out a little more.
Good teachers, lots of locations and times to fit any schedule
Great Staff and nice simple facilities
Great instructor but a long drive I live in east van and you only have west side locations, Kits, broadway. Come to hasting sunrise we have many yoga lovers who would take your classes!
Kind service, very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere and teachers
One of the worst yoga classes I've ever taken. The teacher was fine (although class was not challenging). However the class was overly crowded to the point where you could not do the poses without touching someone. Not just a bit tight - basically people two inches aware from you. It was an awful And unrelaxing experience. Sempervivum model is clearly geared to revenue generation and the people spiritual element to the practice is not a consideration. Mats smelt (I'll bring my My own next time). Plan to finish off my groupon and move on to one of the smaller studios. I suspect my feedback will have no real impact,
I love the large windows over looking false creek. The carpeted floors are nice for the yin & hatha yoga classes that typically run there. As with all of the locations it would be nice to have a little later of a class more frequently.
Friendly, great teachers
Great teachers and convenient locations.
I would prefer more experienced instructors with a deeper sense of spirituality and gentle well rounded fliw
Good vibe. Great teachers and positive attitude of the team.
I like the room. And the quieter location.
The instructors are always wonderful! Classes are organized, inspiring and puts me in zen-mode. I especially love looking out at the water and Granville Island.
It was my first time at Semperviva/ the Kits Beach studio and everyone was super friendly! The class was challenging, but fun and it felt more like a community where you didn't feel out of place or intimidated by others. That's really important for me.
It was my first time at this location as I am new to the neighbourhood and I felt very welcomed and was greatly kindly. Both as I got there and when leaving (greeted by someone else).

Great teachers. Awesome space
