I never grew up with a "neighborhood bike shop". it's honestly the best thing. My daughter picked out a bike there, and we did a 10mi ride to go pick out a water bottle and cage. doesn't get much better than that.

Having a local bike shop, that knows their industry and customer needs is helpful, but truthfully we can purchase a bike or accessories anywhere but the service provider is what made the difference during our visit.
