The gym and weight room plus the helpful membership director
Love the swimming pool
I like the personal attention each employee gives, the smiles and willingness to help me. The Water Aerobic Instructors are fantastic, and like the help I received when I wanted to learn how to use the weight lifting equipment.
I like that the people are friendly and theres a lot of equipment.
With health issues all I feel comfortable doing right now is exercising in the pool. I love using the pool weights they have available.

Chris is patient and friendly while teaching.
My grandson is autistic and frequently has meltdowns. The staff has been very supportive and helpful I. I appreciate all their support.
The Y has a lot of areas that can be used without much wait time, if any. Staff is friendly entering & leaving. They also provide motivation when you feel like you're not doing enough.
I like the sense of community, getting to know people, and the opportunity to introduce children to sports in a mildly competitive atmosphere.
The staff are very friendly and encouraging.
Friendly staff who appear to care about members. Not overly busy. Would suggest that staff monitors machine wipe down practices and encourages members using cable machines to not sit and read phones while they rest for next set.
There are so many options for classes with wonderful instructors.
I like swimming
The staff are very friendly and eager to help. I also like that this Y is not overly crowded like the ones in Greensboro.
I just love the staff, and I am so grateful for what the Reidsville Y does for local children and families.
I have seen the YMCA staff in action with the children under their care; they strictly adhere to the guidelines for proper conduct of treating the children with respect and consideration. In my 13 months of membership (two summers of summer camp and programs), I have never heard Y staff yelling at the children. Nor have I heard the children being rude or disrespectful.
I"m impressed with the community outreach programs that are ongoing. There always seems to be a collection in the lobby or on the seasonal tree. :)
Oh, I also appreciate their social media and emails. It helps foster a feeling of community. Plus, it keeps us informed of what's happening and how we can get involved.
As for the facilities, the fitness equipment is in good condition, and any issues that arise are promptly addressed and fixed. All the areas I use, the front lobby, the fitness center and the women's locker room, are always clean.
Overall, the YMCA of Reidsville is a well-run and professional organization! Thank you for all you do!
We go to the silver sneakers class that Emma teaches in Reidsville, NC. She is hands down the perfect instructor for us older people. She works with you in her own way to ensure you do not injure yourself and that you progress at your pace. She does it in a manner that does not embarrass an individual and is lighthearted. She is just an excellent instructor. You’re lucky to have her and us older individuals appreciate someone understanding our age and stage of life to mentally lift us up and help us meet our goals.
I like having workouts so close to home. I love to dance, that is my happy place. I like seeing friends from years of attending the same community space
I like having the option of going to some different classes in Eden.
