We go to the silver sneakers class that Emma teaches in Reidsville, NC. She is hands down the perfect instructor for us older people. She works with you in her own way to ensure you do not injure yourself and that you progress at your pace. She does it in a manner that does not embarrass an individual and is lighthearted. She is just an excellent instructor. You’re lucky to have her and us older individuals appreciate someone understanding our age and stage of life to mentally lift us up and help us meet our goals.
I like having workouts so close to home. I love to dance, that is my happy place. I like seeing friends from years of attending the same community space
I like having the option of going to some different classes in Eden.

Enjoy the class. Friendly people. Makes me feel better.
The YMCA gives me a chance to visit with others, while at the same time helping myself. Also working out not only keeps me limber, but helps my emotional well-being.
There are programs which help with balance, which for me is extremely important.
At the Y in Reidsville we have a wonderful staff who work hard to make the whole experience very enjoyable.
Thank You, First name removed
The personal training services are excellent. Chris Lemons is awesome to work with! He is always well prepared and attentive in helping me reach my goals. Chris is a great motivator and makes the training sessions fun.

The friendly staff and fellow participants.
Kids love the pool and a chance to break from the heat indoors. The weekly field trips are great too.
Sid is an amazing swim instructor!!
The Reidsville YMCA has been such a positive force in my life! The fitness programs are top-notch, with a variety of classes that keep things fresh and motivating. The instructors are incredible - knowledgeable, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping you succeed. What stands out the most is the welcoming atmosphere. Every class feels like a little community, and the people there quickly feel like friends.
Beyond the physical benefits, these classes have been a huge boost for my mental health. It’s more than just a workout - it’s a place to reset, recharge, and feel supported. I’m so thankful to have this gem in our town!
staff is friendly and helpful
Keeping the kids active and promoting kindness.
I haven't been a member that long and mainly only use the treadmill. However, I enjoy the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the facility.
I love the early hours. I like that there is an instructor to lead us in exercises on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays,. I am a senior citizen and I wish the warmer water would come in at 6:00 instead of later in the class hour.
I would like to see a deep water class being offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00 am.
I enjoy the Y aquatic exercise programs.
Everyone has been so kind and helpful. We have enjoyed the swimming lessons so far, too.

9 am water aerobics is my favorite class. I have been able to establish friendships with many of the women who attend this class. We socialize outside of class as well as attend class.
Great exercise, sometimes the water is very cold, love the instructor, music and people!

I just love the staff, and I am so grateful for what the Reidsville Y does for local children and families.
I have seen the YMCA staff in action with the children under their care; they strictly adhere to the guidelines for proper conduct of treating the children with respect and consideration. In my 13 months of membership (two summers of summer camp and programs), I have never heard Y staff yelling at the children. Nor have I heard the children being rude or disrespectful.
I"m impressed with the community outreach programs that are ongoing. There always seems to be a collection in the lobby or on the seasonal tree. :)
Oh, I also appreciate their social media and emails. It helps foster a feeling of community. Plus, it keeps us informed of what's happening and how we can get involved.
As for the facilities, the fitness equipment is in good condition, and any issues that arise are promptly addressed and fixed. All the areas I use, the front lobby, the fitness center and the women's locker room, are always clean.
Overall, the YMCA of Reidsville is a well-run and professional organization! Thank you for all you do!
