This is our third year coming for several weeks of the summer. We love Camp Weaver and the full day of activities available to the kids!
My son loved being outdoors and getting to experience archery. He also got the first time experience of being in a canoe and swimming in the lake. He loved it!

I loved the variety of activities from Archery and BB guns to friendship bracelets and farm animals. The kids had a blast and learned new skills like kayaking and paddle boarding.

My children had an amazing experience at camp. They lived their counselors and bunk mates. They talked at length about the food! They enjoyed the variety of activities, especially the paint ball, lake swimming and animal care.

Audrey has enjoyed her time at Camp Weaver for several years now - she loves the clinics you can choose from and all the fun activities like the 'block party' and time at the lake. One of her favorite memories was when they called down anyone who wanted to dance to 'Cotton Eye Joe'. :)

You keep our kids busy, they have fun, they learn skills, you are patient when they get overwhelmed, you do conflict resolution when needed (fortunately doesn't seem often any more!), they come home talking about swimming and singing.
My kid loves camp weaver summer camp. I love that she can gain independence and try new things at her own pace. Camp weaver staff and counselors always provide fun and engaging activities for the kids and are adaptable, like offering water slides when the pool was out of commission.
My son likes the blob the most. He also would like more lake time.

My children enjoy the various activities and opportunities to meet new people. The overnight camp is a good opportunity for them to build their independence in a safe environment.
Getting kids outside and away from screens has become so difficult, yet our daughter loves this camp and always wants to come back!! That speaks volumes of the value of this program

My son tried new skills that challenged him and appreciated the independence he could have while he was there. He missed it after coming home and wants to do it again next year.
My kids love camp, and we plan on sending them back year after year.
My only recommendation is to not punish kids as a result of someone in their cabin misbehaving. My younger child, who was in Yadkin, said that after his cabin mate said something offensive to a girl camper, the entire cabin wasn't allowed to play ga-ga ball as punishment. Why not handle the situation directly with that kid? My child was really upset by this.
My son loves Camp Weaver! He has a great time, every time. Friendly people, fun activities and he loves the lake and sports the most!!
