I come to swim. I am currently mobility impaired and using a rotator walker. Having the automatic door in and out of the women’s locker area, accessible toilet and shower and automatic door to and from the pool area make it possible for me to use the facility safely. Thank you!

Nice big shower stalls. Hot water in shower in less than 2 minutes.
Big Hot Tub, Clean lockers, lots of mirrors and sinks in locker room.
Nice friendly staff.

I like swimming but.....it's hard to swim straightforward due to a current pushing me towards the outside wall. This isn't a new issue. I had another person tell me they have the same issue, so they stopped going to this YMCA.

I love the benches in the locker area. But the one in the area with the Handicap lockers shouldn't be able to slide to be in front of the H.C. lockers. I don't know if you could add a note on the floor to keep the bench away from that end of the lockers to insure accessibility.

I’m wrapping up my first full year with strength coach Jeff Wilson. Looking forward to another year of building muscle! Great coach, super nice facility!

Recuperating from knee replacement and nice to be able to come use machines. Great atmosphere

I primarily utilize the weights and cardio equipment, but I like the variety of programming and will attend in the future.

Friendly staff, pool isn’t too crowded to do laps.

I love it. Friendly staff, great environment and I like the new equipment except one thing.. the machine for the calf in not there because of course they replace it for the new one but I am not a tall person and the new one I can not use it because of my height.. I miss the other one because it was great for all type of height. I heard from ladies that are also about my height they cant use it either because of that. I hope we can have one we can use. Other than that everything is great!

Most of the activites

Everything is wonderful- from workout equipment to youth sports. But the reason we switched to Whitaker from Beaumont was the childcare staff. The Hamburg/Whitaker childcare staff is INCREDIBLE and we feel far more comfortable leaving our kids with them than the weekday morning Beaumont childcare staff.

The pool and jacuzzi are fantastic.

Classes are fun, the instructors are extremely helpful. If you are unable to do certain moves they offer alternatives which is super helpful for me. I’ve met several people in my classes which motivates me to be there The new machines in the main workout room are great.
