Affordable youth programs for kids to learn sports and make friends.
I like coming to Alicia’s Zumba class on Wednesdays. My friends and I like to gather for coffee in the lobby before class. The staff is always friendly.
There are a variety of programs. The staff is wonderful and so helpful. I feel comfortable working out there.
Easy up sign up and great communication!
Friendly staff. It’s clean. Great machines for all of our family- young and old.
Jr. Trainers was really fun and helped our daughters get set up to workout.
Very nice place to swim. Wish they had had the foresight to make the pool larger with more lap lanes. The showers are wonderfully hot
They are family friendly
There is something for everyone and every fitness level. Total acceptance regardless of age or
background or athletic experience. Nothing fancy, but well-maintained equipment and space for all sorts of activities.
The welcoming environment.
I love that the atmosphere is like family. You meet people in classes and through kids’ activities and then it’s fun to hang out and catch up when you see each other every week.
I have not really participated any yet but we’ll get to it
The opportunity to exercise in a variety of ways at a reasonably priced gym. Plus, the Y is not going away, bankrupt, change names, ownership, and has multiple locations nationwide for members to use, usually free. What's not to like?
a the Staff and all the people I have meet, makes my move to Omaha more like home.
great
Friendly Professional staff and members.
Friendly and engaged staff.
The teachers were great. The aquatics coordinator was really easy to work with. The facilities are so nice. Thanks!
Friendly helpful staff. Clean facilities
Swimming lessons on Saturdays. Have some really good instructors!
Not overly crowded so machines are readily available. The pool area is great.
Like the facility, the class instructors are great!
Very helpful staff, equipment is well taken care of.
I have 1 big problem. I go swimming @ 530 am and there’s a woman that takes up a lane that isn’t swimming laps. She stands and moves her arms and her feet but NOT swimming. I never have a problem getting a lane cuz I get there @ 530. But yesterday a poor guy got there a little before 6 and he had to wait for 1 of the swimmers to leave. If that would’ve been me I would have been mad. She needs to move out of the lanes if there’s someone that wants to use the lane!
Nice place. Nice people. Enough equipment for the people there. Good childcare options. Kids can participate in sports. A few heavier kettlebells would be nice.
I appreciate the lap swim is frequently open for swimmers.
Variety of Group Active classes, towel service and free coffee.
Would like a Total Body Conditioning class at Southwest like Armburst facility has.
I love the instructors who are so very nice and the classes are great for my age group (senior). There is a choice of classes and the socialization aspect is important for me, as well.
The water exploration A class has been a great way to expose our babies to the pool. The lifeguards are very friendly and helpful. Thank you YMCA!
The staff is very attentive and supportive. They are always available to answer questions and super friendly. The instructors are great and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend the SW YMCA!

Child watch is very nice. It’s never overly full at this location for child watch or the gym in general
