I do water aerobics in the large pool at the Farmington Family Y. It's relaxing and enjoyable and most of the people I encounter there are super-friendly and nice. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. My son, who is 44 and has physical and developmental disabilities, also uses the large pool on a regular basis for exercise. Everyone on staff at the Y has been very welcoming to him, which I appreciate tremendously.
The facility is clean, quiet, & not over crowded. The variety of machines are well spaced & well maintained. The staff is friendly & courteous.
I was very pleased with the amount of exercise equipment available as well as the cleanliness of both the facility itself and the womens locker room. Front desk employee’s very friendly and helpful.
pool was really warm and despite what is in print, laps are available, not as often as i like but they are availble

My early morning Y visit starts the day like my cup of coffee, which follows after my swim. Friendly smiles as you walk in to register, brand new and fresh locker rooms and a great pool! I leave the Y knowing I did something good for my health and with a smile on my face, who could ask for anything more? Then knowing how the Y is helping families, no matter what they're economic circumstance, is icing on the cake!!
