The facilities are top notch. Equipment is not too crowded and avoids waiting to use. Locker room, pool, spa and sauna are quite good. Overall, the facilities are kept clean. What more could you ask for?

I have been a Y member my whole life ( I am now62). I enjoy the family friendly environment and meeting health minded people of all ages and cultures.

I like the family feeling, you can wear whatever you want and no one cares. Parents can work out while their kids are at swim practice. Community.

After the Jewish Community Center closed its athletic area, I was looking for a new club to join.
I was very pleasantly surprised to find the YMCA had such a terrific physicality. Also, the staff and members are very friendly.

I am in Silver Sneakers and considering Swim Exercise. When I enter the Y in Farmington HIlls, all the staff are very friendly, remember my name and answer my questions. They always make sure that those that are, "Regulars" are taken care of. They consider all people, "Regulars".

There is always information on the tables and the posters and pictures are inviting and uplifting. The Y is decorated to uplift, focus on success and happiness. That is beautiful!

It's all about the people. The members and the Y employees... always friendly and willing to help.

The Farmington YMCA is an excellent location for swimming. It has a six lane 25m pool, well lit and well ventilated and kept at a comfortable water temperature for lap swimming. There is a welcoming group of Masters swimmers who periodically swim there as well.
