Water exercise class
The staff at the Southgate Y are amazing, especially Jacob at the front desk and the young lady with the braids. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful; ideal qualities for the first representation of the facility. Aquatics Director First name removed and my grandson's swim instructor Gabe have been terrific!
The facility is clean and the technicians, for lack of a better word are noticeably present in the event something becomes inoperable or needing repair. I could go on, but I'll save more for later. Thank You, Great Job!!! K. Last name removed

The basketball program is great for children. It is very well organized and all the kids have good sportsmanship.

It’s a great facility
The people are the best. The staff are friendly and kind and helpful people. The people who come to the Y are nice and friendly. It is a very nice place to be.
I like the fact that I can walk indoors on the track during the winter months. Also, I use the cardio and strength equipment which is a vital part of my workout regimen.

The programs are well organized and have amazing staff and/or volunteers running them. My kids love all the activities they are in and look forward to it each week.

What I enjoy about the YMCA Southgate are the instructors, the various activities offered and the people who assist us at the front desk. Everyone is so friendly, willing to help you in anyway they can. I am so grateful that I became a member. You feel as though you’re part of a big family.

You have all equipment , price is right worker are great , best part parents you have a play area for children can play and things for them to do , swim pool best part too price is right for larger family bathrooms are clean .
I love all the different classes! I’ve been at it for a week and am having so much fun it makes losing weight a bonus. Definitely recommend if you’re just sick of walking on the treadmill and the same monotonous feeling of going to the gym. They have so much to offer!
