Very friendly and helpful workers.
The instructors have been top notch through the years. Coming to the Y isn't like coming to a gym. It is more like coming to my personal work out setting. I feel respected, valued. It is why I live in the Milford community. The Y provides a family atmosphere which is wholesome.. I appreciate the staff and the philosophy of the Y. There has been a Y in my life since the 1970's. Do I need to say more?!

Good pool. I like being able to reserve a lane in the lap pool so there is not too many people. Clean lockers.

We went to the Carls Family Y in Milford to use our Silver Sneakers Memberships. The personnel there have ALWAYS been friendly and helpful. The workout area is very complete and provides up to date equipment. They also have a variety of classes to sign up for covering various types of exercise and fitness. Although we haven't used it, the indoor pool is very nice as are the locker rooms. They also have an excellent indoor gymnasium for basketball and an area for pickle ball. We highly recommend it as a place for any type of fitness.

It was nice to come back after covid and just pick up where I left off.Staff was as friendly and helpful as before.I certainly needed to come back,and glad I did.

Pickle ball
The check in people are very polite and helpful. I take a class with Lindsey and another one with Jackie. They're both excellent instructors and make the classes very enjoyable. I'm very happy that I joined the YMCA and I share that fact with friends and family.
Staff is always friendly and helpful. Really enjoy the classes offered and instructors who run them. The facility is always clean and well kept. So glad that I can use my Silver Sneakers here!
I like many things about it, there isn't one thing that I like better than another. Probably the best part though is the community. I enjoy talking to people I know and making new friends.
I like all the classes ~ for the fitness as well as the social aspect. The staff are all very friendly and enthusiastic.
The Silver Sneakers Classis workout is the best. Our instructor, Lindsay, is great. She always cheerful and friendly. If you have a problem doing a certain move she has an alternate you can do. It's a great workout. I do 2 classes weekly and would do more if they offered it.

The Carls family YMCA is the most beautiful facility I've been to in Michigan and several other States. The pool room itself is so beautiful having a floor-to-ceiling glass wall with a view of trees and woods outside, in addition to windows surrounding the top of the walls letting in plenty of sunshine and natural light. I've spoken with Coach Jill the pool manager several times to express my appreciation that they're open for several hours in the early morning and late afternoon/evening for lap swimming.appointments. I'm on a first-name basis with almost everyone working there as they are so welcoming and pleasant. The locker room and showers are always sparkling clean every time I go to swim, which is about every other day. Truly a magnificent facility that everyone should visit and join! In fact, I'm thinking of applying for a part-time position as a lifeguard just because it would be a pleasure to work with their great team.
