What do you like about our program and activities?

The teachers are fantastic - my daughter absolutely adores them! She gets to do a lot of activities throughout the day including gymnastics, playing in the gym, outdoor walks, outdoor playground, painting, arts and crafts, among many other things. We also get daily updates via app/email on how her day went - so we are able to easily communicate throughout the day. Very pleased and it’s been a great overall experience.

Why are you so likely to recommend the Y?

I like the clean facilities, esp the pool. Cleanliness of the machines is important to me. I like variety of programs bc- but the adult classes are so crowded that I don’t consider them a possibility. That makes me consider another facility or studio

Everyone is super nice there; they all go out of their way to make every visitor to the Y a wonderful experience. I see all ages and groups of people there. It truly is a great community asset and a creates a community in itself!

I recommend this Y location all the time. I live in Ipswich, the Y there is so small and congested, I gladly drive to Gloucester to work out there. Excellent staff and building!!!

The Y offers so much for the whole community! They have great classes with amazing instructors and I love seeing families and children utilizing all they have to offer. There is something for everyone! Cape Ann is so lucky to have this beautiful facility!

Great classes and instructors!
The only setback is in changing Aquacycle to Aquacycle Combo. It is too crowded in the shallow section when doing off-cycle work. If it is imperative to increase class sizes, a preferred way might be to follow the example of Aquacycle Fusion where folks on the wait list who show up can use treadmills or sometimes steps.This seems to be word of mouth, but works nicely. This way the cycle folks who go to the trouble of signing up promptly aren't having to jump on and off equipment, changing seat heights, milling around getting instructions--etc. We bother to sign up promptly and also some of us pay more for small group training in order to avoid high density conditions.

Why are you so likely to recommend the Y?

I’m a regular user of the fitness area and tell all my friends what a difference it makes in my attitude and my health. The social connections I’ve made there are integral to my life and I encourage other people to try it out for all these reasons. The facility is beautiful and it’s so cheerful with all the natural light flowing in. A wonderful way to start the day.

Beautiful new space, clean and bright, great air filtration system, wide variety of exercise equipment, friendly and helpful staff. plenty of free parking. What's not to love?
