The magic happens every day at camp. The activities, theme weeks, the staff, followup after incidents, willingness to listen to and effectively respond to camper and parent concerns...the complete package of a great summer camp! Swimming is a favorite activity and I understand it was difficult to manage swim time with pool renovations happening. I appreciate that my camper felt safe and heard and that effective response meant he had to come home early one day. That helped him understand consequences. I can't recommend Sterling Woods enough!
Camp Star was able to meet my neurodivergent child’s needs. She thrived for 6 weeks there . I cannot say enough good things about it ! Highly recommend!!
First year joining Y and I am very impressed with the facility, the upgraded equipment , the numerous classes that are available and most of all the friendly and informative staff.

We love all the programs, sports and camps for kids. Club Mid is amazing and my children love participating in all the wonderful programs Claudia Harrington creates. Aynsley Harrington is so helpful in membership as well. We love the Y!

I have been a member for many years and go to the Y three times/week. It has been an invaluable aid in helping me reach my health goals. I have met many wonderful people there,,,instructors, class mates who have become personal friends.

Sports camp truly included a big variety of sports with both drills/instruction and play time. They rotated through lots of fun activities and kept kids moving and engaged! Staff knew my son's name and built a relationship with him. Loved how much time they spent outside despite having the gym space available. Thank you!
Well-run and great programs (ie group classes)
The Y has all the classes and equipment that I need. Staff always friendly and helpful.
Had my kids spend the last week of camp here and they had a great time. They loved the different sports activities and my younger one liked gymnastics camp. Definitely will come back again and highly recommend!
Great workout space, friendly staff, great classes
This was my daughter's first time, she loved it. Her favorites were high ropes, swimming, and archery.
Matt and Laura at sports camp were superb! Went out of their way to show care and were super thoughtful.
Honestly, the biggest thing is my daughter liked it, and she is picky, lol
My son attended Star Camp for the first time this summer and had the best time. He cannot wait to go back next year! He has grown up so much from being there. He has nothing but great things to say about it! I'm so happy that he has a place like this to go to. It's been his favorite experience this summer. Thank you 💜 🙏
I love that my son is able to swim so often, participate in climbing and games and engage in physical activity while enjoying nature. The staff are all kind, supportive and conscientious. I have never had a bad experience at Sterling Woods, I'm so happy to have such a wonderful program for my son to attend.
Staff and fellow members are always friendly and helpful! Also the local North Shore Ys have great facilities.
