How much the kids learn about golf by practicing and playing together. A great program!
Lots of playing time for the kids and a sense of competitiveness
Fun recreational experience to learn the wonderful sport of golf’
Fun event for kids to play competitive golf with friends.
The kids can play no matter what their skill level. They can whiff sometimes and they can hit a long straight drive, all while having fun. I also like that they are learning the rules of golf and the etiquette that goes along with it.
wonderful coaching
Very nice
Lots of other kids with similar interests and instructors were great
It's great socialization and learning experience for kids, especially how to behave in competition.
Love watching my daughter (First name removed) and all her "golf friends" learn about this amazing game and how it teaches you so much about life! The coaching (Todd) was 1st class and fun. The competition was like "The Masters" and the kids really had fun (at the same time, wanted to win), and respected the competition. This was First name removed's 3rd year with PGA Jr. League and can't wait for the next one. Thank You!
It was great to get my son out and learning the basics of golf. He was able to get comfortable with the game with out being rushed on the course.
Teaches kids how to golf, golf edict, sportsmanship and opens their view of larger world with a variety of golf venues.
The PGA Jr League at the Woburn Country Club run by Peter Bracey is a fantastic program. This is my daughters second year playing and it has been a great experience for her. Peter Bracey is extremely knowledgeable and experienced which makes him a fantastic coach and mentor. We are happy that our daughter has the opportunity to have him teaching her the foundations of the game.
Coaches and the expeirence for my boys was great!
Junior golfers building experiences and improving their game together.
Coaches are awesome at the Leo J Martin Course in Weston. My son has learned so much over the years and has really enjoyed himself in doing so.
It's a great way to get kids engaged with the game of golf. PLEASE start a program after they age out of the PGA jr group. My daughter played for a year and then aged out and hasn't played much since.
My 7 and 9 year olds participated in the PGA jr league this summer and loved it. They loved being with their peers and getting out on the actual course to play some holes. So many junior golf lessons take place exclusively on the driving range or putting green and the opportunity to play actual golf was a real treat.
It was well organized and my kids had fun
Mike Rothera runs a great program! You can tell, he loves what he does! He’s so good with the kids and does a great job making it fun
I think the format is excellent along with the Jersey's. Our coach in particular is excellent with the kids.
Coaches are great and the kids have a great time.
Absolutely love the PGA Jr program out of Squirrel Run/Village Links.
It’s a great way for my son to play “fun golf” I a team environment.
Easy to navigate. Scheduled event clearly laid out.
Quick place to ask questions and fast responses.
Coach is fantastic. The exposure to competition is very valuable. And the confidence the game brings my son is second to none.
Gentle competition, confidence building, foster love of the sport
My son really enjoyed the league! He liked having weekly practices and the flexibility to go different days depending on other activities. He would have loved more matches though! I think he really wanted to play at other courses during the summer.
Great kids, friendships, fun atmosphere. Improvement is evident over the season.
