Great opportunity for our children
Coach Chad Spencer was AMAZING this summer! My son had the best experience in PGA Jr with him. He’s super patient, fun, and knows exactly how to keep kids engaged while actually teaching them solid golf skills. Every practice was a great mix of learning and laughs, and he came home more confident after every session.
Chad makes the game exciting, breaks things down so they’re easy to understand, and really cares about each player. The kids didn’t just improve their swings — they built confidence, sportsmanship, and a real love for golf.
We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better coach. If we could give more than 10 stars, we would!

The Acushnet River Valley coach and team are awesome. They are inclusive, supportive, encouraging, regardless of cognitive and physical developmental level and ability.
The philosophy and mission of the PGA Jr. League aligns with my personal values regarding learning and engaging in team sports for children, and sold me on the program for my child.
The opportunity to meet and compete agains young golfer from around the region was an added bonus.
The format seems to encourage learning, but also a sense of what playing and competition (i.e. the shirts, match play, etc.) is about in a fun way as the kids don't appear to get discouraged but rather look forward to playing again.
