Consumer Testimonials
It’s fun for the kids. It’s not too much pressure. They learn and have fun.
We love Jr. PGA, particularly access to the course for kids and the regularity it provides for our kids.
My Son loves the sport, the time with friends and peers, and the level of competition seems perfect for him to progress without stress and he has fun.
The instruction and then being able to play actual golf holes
My son liked meeting new kids from different towns, and a big fan of the merch! :)
I love that he gets the experience to golf every week with kids his age for a few hours.
It was a great season! Our daughter made new friends and learned to play golf with a teammate. The practices were very helpful for her. On the way to our last match, in the car our daughter asked if we can do this again next year. It’s a wonderful program and would highly recommend it to anyone!!!
My son gets to learn from others and play as a team!
He enjoys the laugh and serious game.
It's a great league. There is one major issue however. Our daughter is doing great and enjoys it, but her brother (who has a muscular disorder and cannot walk distances or carry a bag, but is very good at golf), was not allowed to play this year. All he would need is a cart, and he would be on par if not better than the golfers his age. This is not inclusive and possibly a legal violation.
I love that kids can play different courses. Low pressure but they feel very official with the jersey and hat. Great experience and helpful for gaining comfort with rules and etiquette.
It provides invaluable instruction, skill-building, and preparation for a lifelong sport. There is camaraderie amongst the junior golfers, and a real development of an appreciation for the rules, etiquette, and traditions of the game.
It truly depends on how the local course organizes the league. Brae Burn was fantastic. The groups moved quickly through each hole and the teams were organized well by skill level. In prior experiences pre Brae Burn, the pace of play was a major issue and teams included 5 year olds vs. 12 year olds which is not good. Last year at Commonwealth I would have given it a 3-4, but this year at Brae Burn, a 9 NPS.
I like that the kids learn to follow rules for gold and behavior. The kids like to get dressed up for golf and play many courses that they would not otherwise get exposed to.
My only concern is that they will be 14yo and will no longer have a pga junior league option at our club
Coaches are amazing, very kind with the kids. The tournament rule to let kids learn from each other are also very good.
Wish we could have been more engaged this year but plan to do so next year.
Kids are having fun with their friends and improving their skills.
It’s a great program to get kids involved with and loving golf. My son has learned and his game grown so much in just his first season. He’s 11 and he will continue to go through the program until he’s older.
Great coaching, fun format
We loved our experience with PGA Jr. League this year! It was great that the kids on our club's team had weekly instruction and lessons balanced with the local matches. Getting out onto the course for the matches served as great development in decision making, strategy and confidence. The apparel and structure are also real positives. We look forward to being part of it for years to come.
Just about everything. The kids get some golf instruction in a fairly low-stakes situation, and have the opportunity to learn the game as well as how to play in matches and some golf etiquette. Our coaches make it fun, and the scramble format allows all kids to contribute. This is our second year in the program and we will be back.
Lots of opportunity with the PGA Jr! I was disappointed in how our club handled this season compared to prior seasons.
Coaching is excellent and flexible. Facilities are top notch and location is ideal
The coaches and staff are wonderful to the kids. They have created a really fun learning environment for my kids for the past 5 years.
The entire experience. Gear/Swag. The golf and teaching.
Fun team events.
My son had a great experience with the PGA Jr. League. I love the team atmosphere it brings and how much the kids learn about the rules of golf. My son learned some good lessons on being accountable for not only himself but his teammate.
If allowed our son to play and meet people
The coaches are pretty friendly, give you good drills, and good feedback. The coaches also keep the practices fun and engaging.
The staff was fantastic with the kids. The program was organized and efficient. My son loves this program and looks forward to it every year!
My husband and I are not golfers, it was a great way for our son to learn the game! He had fun each week and he liked the instructors.

My kids had a great experience
