Under the leadership of Assistant Pro Nick Fantasia and with the support of Ryan Jenkins, the Junior PGA program at Mount Pleasant Golf Club was nothing short of outstanding. From start to finish, Nick and Ryan created a welcoming, encouraging atmosphere where kids not only learned the fundamentals and finer details of golf, but also gained something much more valuable — the life lessons the sport has to offer.
Through their thoughtful instruction and fun, engaging approach, the kids developed teamwork, camaraderie, and sportsmanship. They were taught the technical aspects of the game, but the real takeaway was how to respect the sport, play with integrity, and grow a genuine love for golf. Nick and Ryan’s passion for growing the game shone through every session, and their ability to make each child feel included and motivated was truly impressive.
This program didn’t just teach golf — it built confidence, friendships, and a foundation for a lifetime of enjoyment on the course.

Intense, three times a week gave kids opportunities to develop as players and get time on the course. Coach made the rounds, encouraged, gave guidance and created a collaborative environment.
Kirkbrae Country Club in Rhode Island has the best coaches / mentors. Tom Crowley and Pete Walsh do an unbelievable job teaching them the game of golf. The kids want to play more golf because of them. It has been a fantastic season and looking forward to next year already.

Coach Sue was wonderful and my son became motivated to practice and learn a sport he's new to. My other children from watching want to do the program next year as well!
Instruction was great. Loved getting my son out on the course playing at such a young age. He picked it up quick and is in love with golf now!

The PGA Jr league is a great program that taught our son important lessons in sportsmanship, mental agility, and team work. I recommend the program to anyone with kids. It’s fun for the kids and parents.
