Well organized and planned. The structure for the kids.
The format is outstanding. Our son was struggling with the pressure of stroke play. The scramble further was exactly what he needed to regain his confidence and enjoy the game again.
In previous settings, he had been playing with older kids, which was a compliment to his skill level, but he didn't enjoy it. He wanted to play golf with and make friends with kids his own age. PGA Junior League opened that door.
It’s hard to get my granddaughter to go out and practice, but when the team practices or has a match she loves to be there.
I like that they actually get to play the course! They could use a little more instruction or one on one time with a pro but I understand that is hard with the number of golfers participating.

It’s a great format. Some courses need to have a recommendation on not making it to long. I would suggest 100 yards for par 3s, 150-200 for par 4 and no longer than 250 for par 5s. Some courses had it a lot longer and was tougher on younger kids.
It’s was my 11 year old grandsons first golf clinic. He loved it and I was amazed at his progress.

Getting, and keeping kids involved with the game I grew up playing. An easy avenue to learn to enjoy the game, while instilling a competitive spirit in a fun atmosphere.
It is a great opportunity for beginners who have never played before to learn and gain experience on the golf course. It is also an opportunity to understand the rules of the game.
My son truly enjoyed playing and wants to play more now. Since my wife and I don't play and we are constantly busy with our three kids and multiple other sports, events, etc we rarely have the option to get our son out on the course so he had almost decided not to play anymore. Thus having a weekly set event where he could get out on the course with the Jr. League was very beneficial.

Just a good group of you young kids. Garrett was an excellent coach very organized I wish you could do a little bit more drills and on hitting the ball correctly how to stand and If needed stance and some One on one with each kid a little bit but I understand that there’s too many kiddos But maybe if you had a assistant couple high school kids that played well to help work with the kids messaged you My son and really enjoyed it this year unfortunately he couldn’t do their fall league because of some back issues. Curious why is out there for a 14 year old next year.?
The organization of the program and knowing up front what to expect.
My boys have enjoyed both seasons of PGA Jr they have completed. Larry does a great job with the kids and gives lots of instruction and positive reinforcements. Great "independent/team" sport.
