Coach Marcus was fabulous for Emporia. Great with kids! My kids learned so much in a positive fun environment. All teams in the Emporia area that we played against had great sportsmanship and were truly there to just have fun.
The competition is fun for all levels and allows for kids to experience competition without the frustration of everything on their shoulders. The coaches are great and it is really fun for the kids to see other courses. Overall a excellent program!

Young players get to compete against other golfers but the emphasis is still on learning the game and becoming better golfers.
The coach and staff are awesome and I love that my son can gain experience with competitive play in a supportive, relaxed approach where learning can take place. I love that there is both the lesson/clinic and competitive matches.
Format of play; it builds confidence in the young players since they aren’t alone out on the field and the score doesn’t depend on individual effort like it will when they advance to stroke play as older golfers. The kids also make friends with others outside their normal circles.
It allows kids the ability to enjoy the game and exhibit sportsmanship in a team based competitive environment.

Fun competition and format. Only recommendation would be to better pair skill levels against each other to encourage focus and interest.

I love the program and the ability to get kids interested in Golf. The Pros at Lions gate were great with the kids and very positive. My one ask. Better Organization and communication, we all downloaded the SportsEngine app but it was never used. Schedules were handed out on paper and taped to walls. Again loved the Pros they were awesome with the kids and I appreciate it was a crazy year. Better Organization in the future would help the parents better plan and prioritize.
It was great experience. The team atmosphere was neat to see. My son was a very young player and was paired with an older player that really helped him better understand the etiquette of playing golf.

Golf is an individual sport and I love that my son can still participate as a team through PGA Jr. League
