Great opportunity for the kids to get out and have some competition
Fine tuning skills, practice, games etc..
it was great for my son to get the competition to prepare him more for high school golf. great experience for them to make all their own decisions out there and play against some of the top golfers in the state.
Coach Jenny and Coach Mike, the format, the coaching, the fun, the learnings
Good way to get child exposed to the sport without pressure. The scramble was a great way to play (one wrong drive or play wont ruin the hole for you).
It was a great experience for my son. He is now interested more then ever in the game of golf.
It was a great way for our son to practice his skills, learn new techniques and grow friendship!
Dave and the team were so helpful and attentive to guide the kids to help them grow. It was a very family friendly environment. It was amazing to watch the kids gain confidence and skill with each practice
The Team play, great coaches.
The competition against other clubs and how it instills a commitment to the game and the team. Thank you.
Team/social aspect
This league is very professional and motivated you to be the best player.
It gets kids playing golf at a younger age
Amazing coaching at Lyman orchards. Fun for all skill levels. Great experience
Excellent program for kids to get into the game and to learn basic rules of the game in a setting that isnt intimidating. The 2 man scramble format allows kids to play competitively, but not get as frustratrated as if they were playing their own ball.
I like that the kids got a chance to get out on a real course and play multiple weeks in a row.
I like the team aspect of it and gives young golfers the opportunity to work together and get a break from the constant pressure of playing their own ball all the time.
Great coaches and players. Program is run very smoothly
Teamwork and camaraderie
really good coaches and well organized
I love the comaraderie and team aspect of the program for the kids. It’s great that the kids learn how to actually play the game as well as understanding proper etiquette.
Coach Jeff Beale is amazing. Even when other teams were unavailable, he was able to find a way to get the kids to play. He coaches and inspires them to be better players
My son learned a lot, gained a lot of confidence, had a great time, and got very passionate about golf in just a short period of time.
Coach Taylor is fantastic. We love Wykoff ave all the improvements they are making. It's very family and kid friendly.
Our kids are learning to enjoy golf and making new friends.
I have two boys in the program and the improvements they are making week to week are really impressive. They enjoy going and I love having a consistent time for them to practice.
It's a wonderfully run two days. Smooth and timely. Kids are treated great! Lyman does a great job hosting and makes all the families feel welcome. Tim as always is approachable as is his staff. A+
PGA Jr. League is a wonderful program.
Both of my children have been involved for years.
My son, Ryan is 15, has moved to the PGA Junior Tour, tournaments and now has made his Varsity Golf - freshman year and sophomore year.
My daughter, First name removed is 13 and this summer played in the PGA Jr League at Indian Hill CC. She has enjoyed the less stressful competition play and making new friends- even from other towns!
Thank you for the years of continuing this programs for the younger golfers.
Grateful Mom,
Rebecca Last name removed
The instruction consisted of more one-on-one time, and the weekly course time provided the opportunity to apply what they learned.
The instructors at Raceway Golf Club do a great job at teaching the mechanics of golf and the rules/mental aspect of the game as well. My daughter started the program right before her fifth birthday and is golf obsessed at this time, to the point where we are taking her to the LPGA FM Championship in Boston later this month!

PGA Jr. League makes golf fun, social, and welcoming for kids of all skill levels. The scramble, team-based format takes away pressure, encourages teamwork, and helps players learn strategy. Children build confidence, sportsmanship, and life skills while still keeping the game exciting with shorter, kid-friendly matches. With PGA and LPGA professionals guiding the teams, families also enjoy the sense of community—cheering, volunteering, and celebrating milestones together—making it more than just golf, but a supportive, memorable experience.
