Consumer Testimonials
Kids playing as a team, learning sportsmanship, patience, discipline, respect, golf fundamentals and having fun and making friends for life!
Great opportunities for my boys to. Compete
Good format and convenient tee times on Sat.
I would suggest in the future to have them play a couple of times on the back 9 (they only played on the front)
Stan the Pro at Suffield country club is AMAZING! We have participated at other local clubs and the Pro’s were not nearly as helpful, kind and patient.
It was a great program and experience for my son, he really enjoyed it and has become quite the golfer!
PGA Jr League is an amazing program to get kids involved in the game of golf. I’m a pga professional myself, although I signed my son up at Watertown Golf club with Peter Seaman, PGA. This truly has been a great transformation for my son who previously wasn’t that interested in the game.
Very well run - a great experience for the kids.
Teaches them rule, regulations and good sportsmanship.
Very encouraging for each player to perform to their best ability. Never negative.
Great opportunity for my nine year old to play!
Everything. Best program for all abilities of junior golfers. Great community
My daughter enjoys learning about golf and making friends while she has fun.
Coaching staff, pga jr league players and community were all amazing. The lessons it teaches about etiquette and how to help each other out is a wonderful experience for children.
Very organized and a great way to challenge the kids in a consistent, friendly environment. Thank you!
Gerry is great! He is great with the kids. The kids like having him as their "coach". He's great with the parents. You can truly see how much he cares about the kids, teaching them the game - and beyond the game - respect, courtesy, competition, friendship. So glad we put our son in this program. I like the mix of practice and the match play each week. Gives the kids the chance to work on their skills while playing.
Great way to introduce children to the game of golf.
Everything was great. The only thing that would be better is maybe there is a full schedule that is available for the tournament play at the end of the season. where sectionals are, how far you can go. etc.
Nicely run, kids really enjoyed it
Lyman Orchard runs an incredible program! They teach kindness, respect, discipline, and focus, in addition to excellent golf instruction. We couldn't be more happy with the PGA Jr. League program at Lyman!
Great facility; my son enjoyed the lessons and instructor.
Great way to introduce the rules and etiquette of golf without me (his Dad) on the course. My son participated in the PGA Jr. League at Hopmeadow Country Club in Simsbury CT and Jenny, one of the pro's, who runs the program deserves credit for making it such a fun and productive program.
Great way for kids to develop skills, have fun, meet other children, and cultivate health and wellbeing. The app is phenomenal—great for parents to keep track of events, meet and message the pros and other parents. I wish we used it all the time, not just in the Summer for camp
Camaraderie and playing with kids of different levels.
Great opportunity for kids to learn the game of golf and experience different courses. This was our 2nd year in PGA Jr. league and we are excited to do it again!
My grandson had an excellent experience and we are looking forward to next year.
The focus is on making it fun! My kids love that their instructors are young females that they can look up to. It’s a great way to introduce the basic skills and put them to use on the course when there’s no pressure.
Coach Marc Bayram (CT) is wonderful. He is a role model for his players and encourages their overall well-being.
My son's experience this year with his PGA Jr team and coaches was fantastic. He felt welcomed by all and enjoyed the camaraderie of the team atmosphere.
My son having fun and is learning so much at the same time.
Very Friendly Staff at Twin Hills Golf Course.
